Re: Little things that irritate you

So if your motoring along the motorway and realise you're doing 90mph, I think you're more than likely to tap the brakes. If I suddenly realise I am over 20 mph over the limit is a reach, tbh, because I am a boring driver anyway, but I'd just take me foot off the accelerator to be honest. I think i...

Sky are reporting Everton have approached Chelsea for Broja.
He'd want double up there, than what we would pay him, just to cover household contents insurance.

Re: Modern technology?

I wasn't lucky enough to have a local newsagent who supplied such literature so once, as a frustrated teen, decided to walk the 2.5 miles to a neighbouring village in order to procure a copy of something to satisfy my needs. Imagine my horror when I arrived only to find my mate's mum working behind...

Re: Jury Service

Careful on this thread, everyone, it is a criminal offence to talk publicly about what was discussed in the jury retirement room. All I would say about the English variety of jury service is thank whoever that we've not gone down the US route of 'jury selection' where lawyers get paid absolute bundl...

You obviously don't get Phoenix Nights over in the US, Shabs.

One of the funniest pieces of TV I have ever seen involves a differently-shaped bouncy item.

Re: Ice cream!

If ever in Italy, and you like coffee, try a 'coffee creme'. They are soft in texture, almost melted, but absolutely delicious.

In fact, OT, coffee in Italy (and Spain) just tastes twice as good as it does in England. I think they use Arabica.

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......

Question please; has anyone had any experience of using an autograph authentication service? If yes, what was it like? Reputable? Asking because I've come into possession of a record that looks like it has been signed by the original artist, long since dead. No way of contacting the original LP own...

I don't agree Prophet.

His age and wage will limit his options as he comes towards the end of his time at OT.

I think we are exactly the sort of club he would look at.
Irony, mate, having inferred that the earlier poster was looking down on the idea that we should try to sign him

Re: Sonny Perkins

At the risk of a paddlin' for straying off topic from Sonny Perkins, where is this Southampton academy that is leaps and bounds ahead of ours? Had a look through their squad and their transfers for the last ten years and I can see JWP & Luke Shaw that have come through their academy and ended u...

Cash doesn’t have to be in a suitcase. It can exist electronically. :newthumb:
I think it might be an item of measurement, of currency.

You don't say anymore 'he earns 50 bags a week'.

It's 5 suitcases, these days.

Blame Brexit, I hear.
