Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Yet another data point on how good a job Moyes is doing. https://twitter.com/KieranMaguire/status/1528616681349779456?t=BnO_71ppCAdhPpuWqIHgeA&s=19 This summer might not be perfect, next season night be a little tougher but I really hope as fans we stay the course and give him the chance to carr...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Just thought, the best thing about these last 30 months is that I can finally stop umming and ahhing when people ask me about the best West Ham manager in my life time in a desperate attempt to not have to say Harry Redknapp.

For that, thank you IB David.

Re: Season Review 2021/22

Really really ****ing fun and 1 good performance away from being the greatest season we've had since 1986. Before the season people were predicting we'd regress from last year and struggle to juggle the league and europe. The latter was true because of the owner's failings that have been apparent fo...

Re: Your Aims for next season

Score more goals. Concede less goals. The rest will take care of itself. EDIT: Also to get through the season without people calling for Moyes to go. I've had a horrible feeling since we started to have a wobble in December that people would get impatient next year if we didn't come 4th or win the EL.

Re: ⚽ Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham Utd: match thread

I want us to have nothing to do with the Europa conference red herring nonsense. Fatigue and risk injury to players in the faint hope of qualifying for the Europa proper IF we 'win' it. ****. that. Just play kids if need be. Utter madness. Can only think you sat in isolation throughout our run this...

Watkins will be playing Champions League football by then after winning the world cup for England.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Their wage bill must be starting to take on an Everton trajectory. Reports of £125k a week for Ings and Digne, Coutinho must be on significantly more than that given the negligible transfer fee, and Kamara would be on Bosman wages. Yep. Seem to be following the exact same trajectory Everton have ov...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Am I only the only one who watches Calvin Bassey and thinks he's like a naturally left footed Ben Johnson? Longelo is the same size as those two in the U23's and is pretty impressive going forward, but question marks on his defending still? Wouldn't be surprised to see Forest come in for him if the...

Proves Denis Skinner’s pithy observation "When posh boys are in trouble, they sack the servants" The Liar Johnson can afford better lawyers than his staff, and sod them anyway, its all about Big Dog and his ego and the ‘help’ can pay their fines for parties he invited them too and know th...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

This is such a badge chasing opinion. Rashford has been shocking for ages. He's had one bad season. He scored 20 goals in each of the two seasons before that. We've not had someone hit 20 goals in a top flight season since John Hartson. We're not signing Marcus Rashford so this is all moo anyway.

Imagine if we just taxed billionaires properly, we could do away with food banks tomorrow. Double irony is that a lot of these billionaires will be getting rich off the back of the work of people using foodbanks and claiming in work benefits because they are paid below a living wage. https://twitter...

I think Bassey is classed as homegrown having come over to England at 15.
Yes. Rule is 3 years with an English club before 21.

Could show the club are confident in Ogbonna's recovery. Bassey looks like someone that could come in to improve on Diop for minimal outlay and cover CB, left centre back in a 3 and left back.

I don't profess to know much about judging keepers as I've never played there. This comparison of 4 of the candidates for our number 1 shirt next season shows Areola in a very good light though. Uses each of their most recent Premier League seasons. https://fbref.com/en/stathead/player_comparison.cg...
