Toney is a cart horse. He would not fit in here and we’d hate him.

I'm all for it but what is going to replace that money, other sponsors will pay less, so players wages will have to drop and/or ticket prices will go up
How much do they actually pay? Most of ours go bust so can’t be that much 😂

Re: The kids are all right

The issue many of our fans have is that we still want to be the Academy of Football, but we’re not. Our youth team set up is inferior to a lot of teams, bigger clubs can now take local kids who would have played for us and move them to Manchester aged 14 etc. I remember the crop of youngsters around...

Rice
Payet
Tevez
Di Canio
Defoe
Rashford would be better than Tevez, Di Canio (arguably) and Defoe. He’s better than Di Canio outright (arguably based on stats and international pedigree), better than Defoe was at 24 and he’s better than Tevez when Tevez was here.

Just looked into it and yes, Moyes was the man that brought him in to train with the 1st team for the first time!

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Also, Moyes would definitely be interested in Rashford. He’s previously mentioned in a press conference that he wishes he had a Rashford or Kane

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Rashford would be in the top 5 players to play for us in past 20 odd years if he signed. He’s 24 years old, 46 caps for England and 75 career goals

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Rashford would be a "next level" signing. As good as Bowen is, Rashford is a better player when at his best, though Bowen keeps getting better. A team with Rice, Phillips, Rashford, Bowen and Lingard would be a very powerful team with a strong core of England internationalists. It will al...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I’m pretty confident Orgi would probably be a 12 goal a season striker if he started for us, which is a lot more than most of our past strikers but we need someone who’s going to score 20+ if we’re looking to really be a top 6 team. Obviously would be a great bench option but doubt he’d be happy wit...

Re: The kids are all right

Bryam was always tipped to be a top prospect, very similar to Cresswell, which is why we bought him I think. I really wanted him at the time. Didn’t work out at all though, but I think I remember hearing Bryams form had dipped quite a bit in the year leading up to us buying him. Still forged a very ...

Meh, Phillips and Raph will go to bigger clubs than us.

Then again DCL and Richarlson would have gone to bigger clubs too.
Don’t agree Phillips will. I think he will end up here. The teams above us will want someone more flash or more attacking.
