Re: FIFA 15 annoucement
Well, I'll reserve judgement until I see the ranges, but on paper it actually seems a fairly sensible move and will stop ridiculous prices for certain players that only coin buyers can afford.Wildy wrote:Price capping has been introduced, another way for EA to scam money from people for the fifa points

Re: FIFA 15 annoucement
Big rumours that the web transfer will never come back. Prices of players have dropped dramically since it was taken down because it seriously slows down coin traders and makes the market a fairer place for all players. I managed to get Sturridge , Costa and falco for a combined 45k. Unheard of a f...

Re: West Ham Utd v Chelsea: match thread
Given how most games seem to have 4 minutes, only 6 is laughable

Just turned up the volume on the stream, and heard Beglin spout the biggest load of b*llocks since Owen was commentating vs Everton. Volume off again.

Re: What did you watch last night?
I've only just started watching Wolf Hall and I agree it is absolutely brilliant. The recreation of the period and the amazing acting by Mark Rylance make this a classic. Caught up with episode 4 last night. Despite knowing the story really well through various other versions of the same historical...

Re: FIFA 15 annoucement
I'm finding the continued lack of the transfer market on the web app really annoying as I don't get onto the game itself that often so it was great that I could run my transfers from my PC or iPhone instead, and really enjoyed a bit of 'Arry style wheeling and dealing. Anyone that didn't sell after ...

Re: Little things that irritate you
Blimey, whatever you do, don't listen to The Exploited or The Macc Lads then ! Yes....but then you wouldn't expect them to be played during the daytime on Radio 1 or Capital. I'm no prude but I blushed a bit when I heard the explicit version of Lily Allen's 'F*** You' being played over the tannoy o...

Re: West Ham United v Crystal Palace: Match Thread
Yeah, why did I miss anything, west hams number one supporter, got the bedspread, clapped the players off after a 700-0 defeat, named one of my children after victor Obinna superfan? Like you knew you wouldn't miss anything??? Did you also walk out when we were losing 1-0 at half time and had been ...

You left at half time when it was only 1-0 through a freaky goal? Loyal supporting at its best....Katie wrote:Walked out at half time in the most delightful mood for there are now only 11 (eleven) more games left for Allardyce.

Re: FIFA 15 annoucement
I had a couple of games last night on PS4, one FUT, and then West Ham vs Spurs (the mode where it just plays the next match of your supported team). Both times the game 'crashed to desktop' a few minutes before the end of the match. I'm not sure what I was more annoyed about....damaging my DNF modif...

Re: Destiny - Full Release
Downloaded the demo yesterday on PS4 and played if for longer than I was expecting. It seemed pretty good and had a great moment when I was on some patrol and a massive great enemy walker landed, which I took with with the considerable help of a couple of level 32's. I can see the random co-ops bein...

Re: What did you watch last night?
Not on TV but I was given a corporate ticket for a Swiss Premier League Ice Hockey match last night (with the inevitable pre-match cheese fondue), between Geneva-Servette and Davos. It was a tremendous match and played in a superb atmosphere, driven by terraced sections inside the stadium with a ver...

Re: Far Cry 4
^^ Not anywhere nearly as far as you are, but one gripe I do have about the game is it not letting you deviate from the task range if you're on a mission....I can understand it if it is a timed event but otherwise it detracts from the open world aspect of the game. For example I needed to do a bit o...

Thinking me and Mrs Leg had beat the odds of having another sprog, only for her to start heavy bleeding, going up to the hospital for a blood test and discovering her pregnancy hormones are dropping and there is now nothing visible on the scan. F*ck sake. Sorry to hear that, been through it t...

Re: Little things that irritate you
The media's hysteria every time we get a bit of snow or cold weather. The Express is known for it but breakfast TV have it as their main headline that the high ground of Scotland could get up to 6" of snow and other areas of the Uk could get 5cm. At one point, i thought the presenter was going...

Re: Little things that irritate you
Recently I'b noticed that some cars fog lights come on when they turn a corner i.e. when the steering wheel is pulled right, the right hand fog comes on. What's this all about? It can't be for safety as I almost mistook it for an indicator on a roundabout. As you know, no-one except ex-pats use ind...

My Wife's inability to put stuff in the dishwasher in any logical manner - plates put in at an angle to they take up the place of three, pots & baking trays too big so that the washer arm won't be able to rotate, bowls put in such a way that they will fill with water, and so on. She's otherwise ...
