For those defending Cresswell.

Twice in just 4 games.

Not exactly bad luck is it......

Go back and have a look at who they played and beat to reach the final.
Sure they all thought the same about Rangers.

Ridiculous, bitter comment.....

Re: Romford

Am away atm and not been on here much. Thought the worst when I saw this thread at the top. Terribly sad news, I never knew Romford but could tell what a major impact he had on many on here and felt like I knew him through that. Especially his deep hate of Arsenal! Rest easy big man. :hamm: He also...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Some of those I don't think are terrific managers, but generally the answer is that they are clubs run by professionals, while we work on the old system of the owner picks a guy he knows or has heard of. How many clubs have the owners deeply involved in the football side of things? How many clubs h...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I’ve mentioned this before on this thread and I’ll reiterate it again and see if anyone is of the same opinion Why/How is it possible that other small to medium sized clubs over the years are able to unearth or source a Manager such as Dyche, Hassenhuttl, Pochettino, Wolves’s N.E.S, Wilder etc yet t...

Re: ⚽ The 92: Match #14 - Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham Utd: match thread

We were much better than the Wolves game. The VAR decision to allow a blatant hand ball for their first was pivotal though. Not saying we would have won otherwise but we would not have then been chasing the game and leaving gaps for them to get the second. We could have nicked a point or even all 3...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Feel like Iv said this to a few people tonight but all I can really say is I admire your patience, wish I was capable of the same We all know that this football club is limited under these owners, I’m sure 99.999% of us want them gone and there will be a time and a place to have it all out again on...

"West Ham remain in trouble near the bottom after a poor performance, their first shot on target not arriving until the 49th minute when 19-year-old defender Jeremy Ngakia tested Rui Patricio from distance" We were looking decent before the break ? Is that in respect to not being behind ? ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I said "easily" winnable opposition, not "easily winnable opposition" I'd say Norwich, Aston Villa, Burnley, Watford & Newcastle out of the next 8 is a fairer indication of Moyes overall ability as our manager than judging him on a fixture run of a similar length which has t...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

The thing is, I don't know how people failed - and perhaps even failing now - to see how much for a footballing dinosaur Moyes has become. His tactical default is to concede possession for the sake of keeping shape. It doesn't matter if we are playing away or playing at home, we always seem to be v...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Luckily we'll stay up just because Bournemouth and Villa are worse Totally agree. Been saying this since the start of the year that the clubs saving grace is that despite having a bang average squad and a clueless, totally dated managerial reject is that there exists 3 worse teams in the league.
