Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread

Decent game to watch. Had 0-0 all over from the outset though. Worried when Ginge started. I thought he would have pulled tonks in and started jenkinson. Ginge did well though. Noble was superb in the middle, and better but not quite there yet from Carroll. I thought he could have put it up Shawcros...

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread

Concerned about this game with Stoke's firepower and our injury list getting bigger by the day. Moses being out might be a blessing as he gives the ball away alot, which is not something we want to do against these. Moses was great at home vs Newcastle but not seen much since. Adrian Tonks Reid Ogbo...

Happy with an away point and clean sheet out of this game. Looking forward to getting back to UP next week as had to miss today.

Lanzini travelled so must have picked up a knock. Big miss that.

Re: Andy Carroll

We had a discussion in the pub yesterday whether Bilic had told him to hold back on his natural game a bit for fear of another bad injury or he's just not the same player he was. A bit tin foil hat I know, but he's not wading into defences and roughing up players in aerial challenges like he used t...

Can't fault your ambition, but think we are dreaming there unless we can un-earth another Sakho like gem.

Re: West Ham United Vs West Bromwich Albion

Need to get the second asap after the restart. If we can make it 2-0 then west brom wont have a sniff. Lanzini playing well, zarate giving the ball away a bit but good creating chances. Great free kick, right in the top bin. Only game i'm missing this season as just got off a stag do.

Re: West Ham United Vs West Bromwich Albion

Jenkinson has to come out of the team for me. Howmany goals has he been involved in conceeding this season? Marking on the goal yesterday was terrible and then to stop playing and claim offside - that is Sunday league stuff. I would sacrifice a bit going forward for some defensive stability in Tomki...

Re: Tottenham v West Ham Utd : Match Thread

Missed out on tickets due to issues online. Watching the game was my only request today and my mrs falls asleep at half time on the setee. I had to take my little girl upstairs to stop her jumping on her sleeping mum and i missed the last 25/30 mins of the game. I probably wont even be p*ssed off wi...

Re: Andy Carroll

He's lost it, looks a waste of a key position. He has no pace, he doesnt bully defenders or hold the ball up well. Odd flash here and there but not enough to warrant a starting place. Impact sub at best but he wouldn't and shouldn't be happy with that so i would think he will go. Sakho out wide toda...

Re: Tottenham v West Ham Utd : Match Thread

Really poor. Goes without saying, hate losing to these. We will struggle with Carroll up on his own. Not the player he was. And Sakho wasted out wide. Very strange selection.

Re: Michail Antonio

BBC Sport website is saying he is off to Derby County. Doesn't say on loan or transfer but you would assume a0 its rubbish so early on and b) it would be a loan at best and c) Would he go to Derby so soon after playing for Forest? Its a nothing story anyway.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Everton: match thread

Tomkins was unreal today. For me, at the moment it is him and another at centre back. I would have played Ogbonna today vs Lukaku before the game but Reid done well. Noble was also top drawer, and was alongside Moses, Lanzini and Jenks in the other notable performers in my book. Carroll does not wor...

Re: Andy Carroll

Be good if him and Sakho could develop a partnership together. Struggling to see it at the moment. Big Amdy will definately not be happy with his 25 minute cameos, but i dont think he is ready to play on his own vs everyon if sakho is not fit

Re: West ham vs Everton 7th November

I'd play Ogbonna with Tomkins. Reid has been tested against Lukaku before, and it will be one of them with Tomkins. Saying Tomkins has played himself out of a place is rubbish. Anyone know how long Sakho's thigh injury is keeping him out. Providing he is back, i put us to edge it 2-1.

Re: Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread

Both teams to score but i think with an un-changed side we should win this. Zarate deserves to keep his place but won't last 90. Collins stays for me. Antonio will make the bench i would assume, but for who? Valencia needs minutes and Moses to come back aswell. They looked good against Stoke (who we...
