Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

When Alan Smith is commentating on West Ham matches you find him unbelievably annoying, boring and plain irritating.

But listen to him commentating on a game not involving us and you realise that you was right all the time.

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

TNT and more so Darren Fletchers obsession with pointless stats especially the one where he keeps banging on about how many combined goals each team has been involved with is really grating.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

So what you were watching until they sent Boniface on? They looked like every other team we play like that. Lots of passing and possession without any penetration. They didn't look a Liverpool or a Man City - a team that blows you away. They looked like what they are, one of the very best teams In ...

Didn't look much like scoring though, did they?

Not until they did.
If not for Fab they could have scored a hatful. They looked like scoring with every attack. They are a fantastic side.

They were a joy to watch and we did well to compete for as long as we did.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

Savage saying that, being 1-0 down… we now have to do “what no other team has done and beat Bayer” Didn’t we have to do that before anyway? Not really.. Both games could have ended In a draw and the tie goes to penalties. If that happened then they lose the tie but are still classed as unbeaten
