Re: Ideal ins and out's in the summer? (Realistic(ish) only)
I also think we should be looking at shipping out Carroll if there's any takers in the summer. His injury has again highlighted how much of a hole he leaves in terms of depth to the squad and for me the wages would be better spent towards a player that can give us more games. We can't go through ano...

Re: Ideal ins and out's in the summer? (Realistic(ish) only)
I don't think anyone is in a position to judge how good Hendrie is at the moment. It will be such a huge step up for him at a very young age in his career. The SPL isn't like the Championship where it's genuinely competitive, just not sure whether we'd be better off bringing in some experience at le...

Didn't look too much hard work for Chelsea in the final, I wouldn't bet on any fatigue kicking in

Re: West Ham Utd v Chelsea: match thread
O'Briens I'm sorry but If we set up like that Chelsea will pick us off, they're the masters of it. I think we tried to adopt that approach against Palace but it was just one of those days. The quality of their midfield should make us cautious in playing the diamond, I'd be more inclined to go with t...

That team who beat City and Liverpool was the team that lost to Palace.....O'Briens Hair-Line wrote:If we want anything from this game, then we have to set up how we did against City and Liverpool.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend ?
I'm 22 and Noble along with Tomkins are to me legends. I've never experienced the Bonds, Brookings or Moores but these two are what represent West Ham and to the younger generation they are legends. In a time when players leave clubs and show no loyalty to anyone, they will be remembered for the fan...

Walking into work and sitting there all smug with the Spurs lot all quiet. We know, they know, football knows that we're starting to become a direct rival to them
And they hate it!

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United: Match Thread
We lost because of Alex Song, stupid to make contact in the box at that point. Kane was always going down. Has been s*** the last 2 months and is not worth the £15 million required to sign him. He cost us today We also had very good fortune from the referee, Valencia was interfering and should've be...

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United: Match Thread
I'm more interested in Spurs line up than ours if i'm being totally honest. Will be interesting to see what games Poccettino believes are his most important. No way Kane and Eriksen can play 6 matches in 17 days at 100% capacity.

There's no excuse for sitting back and defending for large parts imo. They have big games coming up, we're sitting comfortably in 8th with no pressure. Charge from the first whistle ffs

I can see it being Nicholas Anelka, him and Sam have a good relationship and he's now clear to play from his F.A ban

I'm gonna make sure to pick Kane as my fantasy football captain this week. We play anything like yesterday and it'll be 3 or 4-0

Re: The Andy Carroll having op and maybe out for rest of season
Discobar - There would be interest, he's obviously a good player, the likes of Pulis after the sale of Berahino comes to mind? But judging what clubs would be interested is just hypothetical, guess work As for Dean Ashton, the year he joined he was instrumental in getting us to the Cup Final. He cem...

Re: The Andy Carroll having op and maybe out for rest of season
Stop mentioning this new god damn T.V deal. The deal as it stands right now is that we are in a 35,000 stadium and playing in a league where our highest finish has been 5th. We do not have billionaires controlling us but we are a lot comfortable than others. When West Ham spends £17 million to make ...
