Re: Banned - for FOUR years [non WHU]
Manchester United had two outstanding players in the same youth team, Pogba, and Ravel Morrison. Both should have been global superstars, both should have been thrilling football fans for years. Ravel, for me, was always the better of the two, but each of them has failed to live up to their early p...

Hazard's got posters of Julien Faubert up all over his gaff.ballantine wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 3:13 pm Eden Hazard's downfall after joining Real Madrid was pretty spectacular, even if being a Real flop is hardly "obscurity".

Re: ✍ Welcome Emerson Palmieri
Surprised by that.
Goal was superb , but until then it looked like Potter Keane-Lewis gave him the runaround most of the match. In fact, felt like one of his weaker performances in an otherwise excellent season.

To be fair to the lads, we're not used to all the extra running required to celebrate goals.

Potter Lewis-Keane's been impressive tbf to the lad.

Re: Today's other matches
I know Liverpool had a lot of injuries, but the narrative of them being massive underdogs against a team in the bottom half of the Premier League was absolutely shamelessbrothernero wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:39 pm Gary Neville..

Very happy for Misko and Said, but the impact of Lyon having a positive January window compared to our own anti-transfer window is striking.

There has never been a game played 5:45 local time. Us and Rangers are the first. We have every right to be furious. Seeing this a lot and it's just not true. Just this season, Hibs v. Villa at 5.45: https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/sport/football/hibs-v-aston-villa-kick-27545783 A couple of months ...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24
Three out of the eight ties are a repeat of the group stage. Seems a bit of an oversight. Could have gone one more round before opening up that possibility. I suspect you can either have no group repeats or no same-country match-ups but not both at risk of (theoretically at least) making the draw i...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24
That draw was about as bad as it gets for wanting a couple of the bigger teams to maybe lose. Luckily we got a good draw. Should we manage to get through, the quarter final is very likely to be some serious competition. Not the biggest of big guns, but Brighton or Roma going out is handy for us. Le...

Unless I completely imagined it, pretty sure I saw both Sean Devine and Marcus Stewart turn out as anonymous trialists for us in pre-season friendlies back when that was still a thing?
