Re: Stuart Pearce leaves the club

Twitter reckons he wants to spend more time with his family and has a wedding coming up this summer?

Either way, best of luck in the future Stuart.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I’ll be very surprised if we have any new signings before pre season starts. Areola might sign before then but not counting him as a “new” signing as such. It's not often we see it connected with Moyes, but a few papers say he wants business done early this summer. Daily Mail in particular reckons ...

Geezer that reports for River Plate who wanted him. He has 135k followers and says River are out of the running because "West Ham is going to be his destiny".

Yarmolenko replacement. Next.

Sounds like a very good chance of 3 incoming this week from what I was told today.
The window opens on June 10th so that’ll be interesting.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Quite crazy just how many names will move on this summer, names that have just hung around for a few years not really offering much. Noble (god love him), Fredericks, Yarmolenko, Kral, Masuaku, Randolph, possibly Diop? It’s basically our entire bench that’ll be replaced with, hopefully, better playe...

Re: ⚽ Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham Utd: match thread

When you’re chasing a win for Europa League football and bring on Johnson, Noble and Yarmolenko you know you’re not quite good enough for this stuff.

The hardest of no to Rashford. His focus is clearly outside of football.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Bassey is being quoted at 9 million... Now I've not seen the fella, however if we've done our homework then I'll be happy. He seems to have equally played LB and CB... which is he better at? https://twitter.com/jimwhite/status/1269369433430134785?s=21&t=sIGQYxR5pGOwaJ7QEUJGUw If the internet is...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

The point about Fulham probably wanting him back is a decent one. The last thing we need is them throwing money at him and leaving us scrambling for a new goalkeeper. The club knows Areola and he’s costs about a Jordan Hugill. I’m fine with it. He can also kick a ball over the halfway line which I d...

Areola is the cheaper option though so we will sign him.
Good. Our money is better spent elsewhere than £20m+ on Pope.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

We inexplicably gave Antonio a new 2.5 year deal in January keeping him here until Summer 2024.

I’d hope Moyes sees more than just another year in him.

I have one with mine and my Dad’s name on. I give it a little foot tap before any game he can’t make. I’m sure I’ll do it long after he definitely can’t make them…

I like them.
