Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
The one person we should be breaking our neck to bring in is Southamptons director of football or whoever does their hiring and firing, this is a club that were promoted from the championship above us and have finished above us in the 5 seasons since, all achieved with a net transfer spend of 34m co...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
It wasn't designed as a football stadium, and never will be, in the summer the scaffolding will be removed and the running track exposed, all West Ham advertising and fittings removed, and the stadium will be what it was intended to be, putting it all back again will make no difference to tens of th...

As others have advised you the Central line journey is the most direct, i was giving you a journey without the Stratford queing, but as i don't use Stratford and they do, it would seem their journey is better.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Espanyol played in a purpose built 40,000 seater stadium in Barcelona, a stadium that hosted 3 games in the 82 world cup,due to financial problems they sold their ground to property developers and moved to the Olympic stadium in 1997, this was unpopular with the fans, and after 12 years moved to a p...

Nearly all of Spurs new stadium will fit in the lower tier of the London stadium, a proper purpose built football stadium, something ours will never be.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I find it insulting to our history that the official website would print this attack by Martin Samuel on the record of Upton Park, to say the reason we were relegated and won no trophy's was because we were at Upton park is rediculous, when as anyone ever mentioned other clubs failings it is to do w...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I was wondering why we have no home fixture during the Xmas or Easter period, all other London clubs have a home fixture on one of these dates except us, surely our home fixtures are not being arranged around busy shopping periods at Westfield's.

Not sure what the queue's are like at Stratford International, but what about trying Hackney Wick to Highbury, then 2 stops to Euston on the Victoria line, both Stratford International and Hackney Wick are just over 10 mins walk from the stadium, you should be fine with either option.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Not sure why people are moaning about getting to Stratford station when there plenty of routes, either stick with the main route and a bit of a queue, as we had getting to Upton park station, or walk via Carpenters road, which is about the same as walking from Upton park to either Plaistow or East H...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Westfields put the barriers up when we play, but they have more trouble with the locals than they get with us, recently had gangs chasing each other around with knives before a film screening at their cinema, without the trouble they have had at the casino, which resulted in it being closed for a wh...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
They must have known the capacity would be 57000, otherwise the tickets would have been issued and loaded on members cards after the ballot, it's no wonder that it has been mentioned that paper tickets will again be issued for members for this game.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Surely they were selling tickets for a 60,000 capacity already having had a ballot for members, why was this not mentioned before, will members now have to have a ballot to enter a ballot, something not right here!

If you and your dad are sitting in the north end of the stadium, it may well be worth a try taking the train from Stratford to Hackney wick, it's a 10min walk and there were no queues after the game.
