Re: ⚽ Leicester City vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Not sure I agree Londons about not "on the beach" anymore, manager I dare say wants the win/pushing players, but player A after a long season and job done may want to give it all, but sub-conciously maybe off his game by a little, and a little in the PL can sometimes really really show. Fr...

Re: Top the League or bottom your choice
Interesting post/stats that  I would have said Newcastle would be in the top 3 the shithousery they get up to, funny how you see things to actual fact/stats!??! Not a table I would want to be No.1 unless you are winning the league, as others have said, take into account the amount of time we d...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
I agree again Hetfield, but, he has an opportunity to change the view of us peering in. He won't get many better opportunities to drive the stake in the ground, or happily through her..
I say better opportunity, it's her innit, another chance will come soon enough..

Re: ✍ Flynn Downes
He deserves one more year to see what he can bring to the table, I think he has more to offer, a little more confidence/bravery on the ball and we will see a more rounded player.

Me too Clackers - "Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland". Have only seen the first two episodes so far, but it's tragic and brilliant at the same time. Have to say though I've had to use the rewind button a lot - some of the accents are impenetrable! Watched a couple more last night, one ...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
Sunak is undoubtedly in between a bit of a rock and a hard place with the Braverman situation. Moving her on risks creating further factions within the Tory administration, and undoubtedly her type of politics would sit well with a wing of the party, and would see her platform as a real possibility...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
A week ago I saw 2 baby Geese with a male & female duck, no adult geese around, was unusual as the little ones usually chase everything away, couple of days later, saw them again. Last night, they are still together so I think the 2 ducks have adopted the two baby Geese, all be it the baby Geese...

I've developed a decent heuristic for detecting paedos. If they work at the BBC, are male and over 50, assume they are a nonce. Hardly ever wrong Which comedian said or similar to "found a copy of the Radio times from the 70's, or as we call it now the sex register" Similar to Dan, Rolf a...

Re: Artificial Intelligence
Good analogy Toulouse
Since the thread started I have been reading up about it. Far too many clever people in the know on AI are worried about it, as I said on a separate post, we should be worried if they are, right?
Will Smith is tooling up as I type..

Re: Declan Rice
I think people are slightly forgetting that Kane did try to angle a move to City in 2021. It was a source of much amusement after the 2021 Euros. Apart from Levy playing hardball over the price, that deal would have concluded as all parties were open to a deal (apart from Levy, perhaps). Kane ended...

Keep grabbing, I like it :D Before I get pulled on thinking "small time club", I'm not, just realism around our current owners...We have the potential to be pushing at the higher end of the table every season with £60k every other week, we just need people at the helm to get better sponsor...

Re: The Relegation Thread
Relegation battle this weekend has the potential to be a very exciting watch, but I have a feeling it will just end as a damp squib due to the lack of quality and sides remain as they are.

Re: Declan Rice
Fair point on more possibility with Kane, and I am sure winning silverware with them over say a Man U would have meant more to him. Still Tottenham though wasn't it, not a Man C, so chances of winning are much much lower. The comparison between the 2 players is still fair and Dec may look at Kane an...

Re: Declan Rice
Had a similar conversation regarding Kane/Rice at the weekend Crouchy. It all comes down to what players of their ilk want from their career, Kane is handsomely paid, loved by the fans, Rice could be the same at that age. We as supporters, many ex-pros/pundits think player A wants lots of silverware...
