Re: Where will we finish?
Wolves - 3 points
Fulham - 3 points
Palace - 3 points
Liverpool - 1 point
Chelsea - 1 point
Luton - 3 points
Man City - 0 points
14 points
I think that’s about as good as it could get for us and would get us 59 points and surely top 7?

Re: Where will we finish?
The Newcastle defeat really stung. Avoiding defeat at Spurs was critical and I personally think we now have to beat Wolves away to maintain a realistic chance of 7th. It’s a result that Moyes typically pulls out the bag and one which would actually make our form look okay and make us all forget the ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
He’s not going to any club that expects to be fashionable as part of their brand. I would think that probably rules out Newcastle now, money does that, and then any of the usual PL big boys, plus Spurs. Ive said before that Moyes is perfectly imperfect for us. We are big enough that Champions Leagu...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
It could be said that negotiations wise we are sitting in a position of strength when it comes to Paqueta - long term contract and an 85mil clause in the contract if anyone wants him… What happens though if we don’t sell Paqueta? Is our summer transfer budget contingent on his sale and if we don’t s...

Re: Where will we finish?
Its a massive opportunity at Newcastle tomorrow. A victory would put us 7 clear of them with 8 games to play. With Wolves away to Villa and Brighton playing Liverpool victory at Newcastle would have us favourites for 7th spot.

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
There are not too many bigger incentives for a player to put in a performance than the one presented to Phillips against Newcastle. You have an England manager who desperately wants to take him to the euros but who knows he will get clobbered for doing so in the absence of any form. There is also th...

Re: Sobriety
Went to the pub earlier. Everyone drove home after 3 or four pints, kids in the cars with them. Not a prude by any stretch but this really surprises me in this day and age. Some are quick to condemn people who snatch strangers bags or sell their body to feed an addiction. However, is that worse tha...

Re: Fixtures March 29th- 4th April
I see Marshall wasn't even on the bench for WBA!! What a waste of time that loan mve was. Not the first time we have wasted loans I think it’s a reality check for some fans and YT channels that continually berate the manager for not giving our youth minutes in the first team. It’s sobering but at p...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).
Hmmmm , that'll be me worrying till Monday/Tuesday . It’s easy for people to say that there is no point worrying about things you have no control of, particularly if you are a worrier like me! However, that message has helped me take the edge off worries a little in the past. Keep busy and good luc...

Anyone know what happens in the event Man Utd win the FA Cup and finish 6th? In this scenario does the Europa spot earned through the FA Cup go to 8th?

Why he wants to play for that **** though I will never know. #can’tbuyclass You only have to watch The Overlap that Rice appeared on with Gary Neville to get a clear understanding that Rice is devoted to his family, friends and London. He spurned the opportunity to play for the best team in Europe ...

To each their own.
I think that fans who abuse a manager and then have a tantrum when the manager offers a little bit back are a bit muggy.

Re: Sam's ear
I bloody love that these two managers are part of our history.
Pep knows - he knows that a prem manager of a club with more modest means is required to take a different approach to winning. Moyes and Sam are total trail blazers for the wannabe’s.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
We certainly do. However, despite the set backs I do think in Cornet we have a player who can do that job. He is very talented but has been blighted with injury. Fingers crossed for himprophet:marginal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 7:03 pm We need a left-sided forward/winger most urgently, imho.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
He is much more than a ‘steady Eddie’ but there is certainly a place in the squad for a hard working, reliable and versatile player such as Bowen. If it’s a choice between him and the hot and cold Rashford I know which one I’d choose.

Re: Sam's ear
Sam's confidence was just what we needed when he joined, but it grew highly annoying towards the end of his tenure. All that "I'm right, everyone who disagrees with me is wrong" business underscored how that confidence eventually gave way to arrogance. Do you not think fans had a part to ...
