Gloves and a mask. Fibreglass is a b*stard as you say. You'll be scratching for hours, been there, done that.

Re: Little things that irritate you
They were paying Microsoft to continue to support it for us as we have around 6-8k desktops. It reached a point where they wanted something like 2 mill a year so they just upgraded. That is just unbelievably bad IT management. Was the final say on an upgrade out of the IT department's hands or was ...

Sounds like the firm I work for. We only just upgraded from Windows XP at the start of the year, and have some form of system/connectivity outage almost daily. Christ almighty, XP's support end of life ended in 2014. Why has it taken so long to migrate from XP? How did you get any apps to run on it?

Re: ⚽ Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread
I thought the game was OK today but we were lucky on a few occasions that Sheff Utd's frontline aren't as sharp as they should be. They did split our defence on more than one occasion but just lacked the killer touch. McBurnie was unlucky with his shot, I thought that was going to be an equaliser an...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).
I have a best mate who I've known since I was six and who really suffers with depression, which is understandable when you hear about the absolute hell his life has been. The dosage of anti-depressants he’s on has shocked some people who are also on medication. To top that off he was diagnosed with ...

Re: Little things that irritate you
A woman walked past my house earlier, around about lunchtime, in her dressing gown and a pair of slippers, puffing away on a cigarette. Now I don't consider myself a snob, and don't expect people to be dressed to the nines to pop to the shop for a loaf of bread and a paper, but surely a minumum lev...

The way my step-daughter pronounces the word "skeleton" as "skelington". I told her the correct way and said, "...well you're from London, we pronounce it different down here"

Mitrovic looked terrible against us on Saturday so it didn't surprise me that much. He looked overweight, slow and past it. I know he had a stormer of a season last year but this season he's looked very average

Try an IPA, and you'll have your answer. Which style though? English IPA - malty, high(er) ABV with some fruity English hop character New England IPA - Tropical stone fruit sweetness, grapefruit and pine West Coast IPA - Bitterness central, huge bitter grapefruit flavours and a dry finish Bl...

Nah, they're shitters. Mine are fairly big but they'll only kill birds and things up to the size of chipmunks. They leave squirrels alone and they won't go near groundhogs. Male cats especially are bone ****ing idle: they can't even be arsed to kill shrews and mice ..... although they will **** aro...

A cat can jump as high as the equivalent of us jumping on to the roof of a two storey house. They can see in the dark. They have the reflexes of a cat, allegedly. I read somewhere that if a domestic cat, with all it's traits, was the size of a lion, it was be the most lethal hunter in the animal ki...

Probably going to feel the wrath from GCRO for this one but here goes, I like mass produced lager such as Cobra, Moretti and Peroni. What am I missing by not drinking some of these popular IPAs? Not a great deal mate if that's not your thing. However, if you like Cobra, Moretti and Peroni then you ...

Re: Beer/Lager/Cider/Spirits Thread
I wasn’t going to buy any, just passing it on. I use a local brewery, Time and Tide Brewery, which I can drive 2 minutes down the road to pick up from. I know Time & Tide beers quite well. Some of them are great but they do a beetroot chilli wheat beer which is probably the worst beer I have ev...

I'd give it a swerve if I were you. There's some breweries there who really aren't that good at all.Monkey Mike wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 11:12 am https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/flavourly/

I'm finding that when I go that extra mile for my customers they just get angry.
