Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

By the end of the season we will have played 57 games. That's and average of 1 game every 4 1/2 days, taking international breaks into account. That is very hard, especially with a squad not amassed by multi billionaires or nations. Coupled with the injuries we had losing all our main purchases for ...

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

I have banged this drum before, but Taiwo Awoniyi was the one. Agree. His Stats are better than those of Becker who now seems to be the choice of many on here but he also has 2 major plusses - he is probably the nearest to Antonio out there and he now has premiership experience. Also he was out wit...

Supported this club shares once 1965. Had a few beers watching the game and a bit emotional but so happy for everyone.

Would rather Tielemans than JWP. Younger, provides same free kick/corner delivery and is on a free so cheaper.

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

Now that we are mathematically safe we should today get on the phone t Leicester and put in sensible bids for Barnes and Castagne. Talk to Tielemans agent 're him coming here. Also put a bid in for Lavia from Saints. Let's get things done early.

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

I would love for us to be able to keep Dec as honestly think he is one of the best all round midfielders in the world at the moment and will only get better. I cannot think of anyone who matches his positioning sense, break up of play, passing, ability to run with the ball and close control. We shou...

Wouldn't say no to Gilmour. Read somewhere that per minute played his stats better those of any other Brighton midfielder this season. Him, McTomminay and Paqueta in Mr would work?

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

For once there is probably a good Premier League team from those clubs currently in danger of relegation. There could be some players from that team who could improve us. My regulation team would be (selected from team below us) Pickford Keane Salisu Tarkowski Perraud Lavia Onana Castagne Johnson Ma...

Re: Summer Rebuild 2: Electric Boogaloo

I like Calvert-Lewin, always have. Think he’d be back to his best after a proper pre season. This is West Ham though, so we should stay well clear. You know if we sign him he’ll be on a stretcher first game One thing we absolutely must do is avoid buying any sicknotes. (I know this has long been a ...

Out Fabianski In Scmeichel Out Cresswell In Maehle Out Dawson (already gone) In Coady Out (sadly) Rice In Sangarre Out Benrahma In Barnes Out Lanzini In Ward Prowse Out Antonio In Toney This is probably a couple more changes than ideal but adds to the leadership options, adds pace, increases goal th...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd vs Nottingham Forest: match thread

Paq is top class . He pulled the strings , just as a 60 million player should. Ings started the move for his first goal too having just watched MOTD. He's just a much better footballer than Antonio . I still think Scamacca has a place in the 11 with Ings though. I'd quite like to see Ings in the mi...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Fulham: match thread

Truth is none of those 3 were deliberate handball. All of them bounced off the player's bodyfirst and then onto his hand/fingernail. In none of those instances did the player use his hand to control the ball. Please, please, please can we go back to where a handball or foul has to be deliberate and n...

Re: VAR Thread

Needs to go back to clear reasons to overturn/make a decision. Also that a foul has t be deliberate not that a player might have been impeded by a guest of air from a passing opponent, as yesterday. At the moment it is there might be a reason that a decision might have been incorrect then overturn i...

Sorry but in this case why would we not have done as we did. Vanekan was the back up to Paqueta and is a lesser option. When we got the latter we couldn't proceed with the former - unless they want a swap with Lanzini.
