They have. And I don’t blame them.

Sub on 15 minutes, the guy that went off must be chuffed.

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread

Does xG factor in the players taking the chances as well, or just the location of the chances and likelihood in such locations? Ie, Allowing Mic to shoot from a tight angle inside the box is much different than allowing Messi to do so, so you’re not necessarily doing everything right defensively if...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread

Working on the theory that all footballers have the same level of talent and capability is a glaring fault with drawing assumptions from this, and being able to tell the difference between something beings odds-on, evens or odds against isn't rounding things to zero - it's recognising real 'should ...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread

xG is mickey mouse in many respects. The fact you can go to multiple sites and get different xG for the same game is the first obvious sign that you're in the hands of dubious 'modelling' . Chuck in the fact that it brings everything back to an average level of performance and it completely misses ...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread

In between a bit of light dusting and hoovering I allowed myself a 20 minute break and took in the extended highlights that Sky provide - First thing I noticed was it was a more even game than first thought , Everton , apart from the goal only really had one clear-cut chance , it's possible that Be...

Re: Sobriety

Am meeting up with my old mob of scuzzy reprobates this weekend, for a birthday catch up. As we all approach or pass 50, it’s a bit concerning that almost all of them are still boshing controlled substances at a frightening rate. One of them has just boasted about how he spent the weekend hosting a...

Their interest looked concrete to me during the summer.

Well, I’ve seen the texts, they aren’t exactly awful even if Horner does give off the weirdo energy that he also gives off when being interviewed.

The point of the vaccine is to reduce your chances of getting shingles and to make the symptoms less severe if you do get it, much like the flu or COVID vaccines.

I’d opt for pink or bright green, or white, at a stretch, just to make sure you single yourself out to the oppo as a ponce that needs a good kicking.

Los of positives covered by you all. Very enjoyable. Credit where it's is due. Thought the referee did well overall. Especially first ten minutes with them diving about. He let them know he wasn't falling for it. Helped lead to an enjoyable game of football. He got two pretty big decisions wrong - ...

That was a really silly challenge in the penalty area.

(Middle) Management are starting to realise that the vast majority of people can be trusted to do their jobs properly if nobody is breathing down their necks all day and they are panicking as this means they serve no purpose so they are bringing you back into the fold before anyone notices just how...

Not speaking English, turning the running and pressing dial up to eleven, shipping a load of goals and relegation. That's a genius, right there.

Yeah, it really needs to be shown to all 18 year olds or graduates to show them what their life is going to be like for four decades.
