A one nil defeat will be a win in my eyes, they will think they are already in the semi's after our lacklustre display in Germany, then beat them 3-1 in return leg in the noisiest game yet at LS.

Re: VAR 2023/24

Ball goes in the net, you start to cheer but instantaneously glance at the lino. Arm is staying firmly by their side, and you carry on cheering as you know nothing can take away that feeling.

That's gone under VAR.

**** me 4 euros for 20ml of lager. Is there any point - two sips and its gone. €10 for a can of Heineken equivalent. No wonder I prefer staying at home. I seen somewhere in London wanting £180 for a table for 6 in a big bar with several big screens and a DJ. Now I understand some love being in a bi...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

What difference would this make behind the goals? Everyone in the bottom tier stands already. Then maybe make the whole end standing. I'm confused somewhat as I keep reading that people are constantly told to sit or get ejected or get letters. Will add that I always sit upper tier at LS but at the ...

Anfield already has 12,000 safe standing places but the Kop is now going fully safe standing. I think it's time that maybe the lower half of the lower tier of the billy bonds stand or lower tiers behind goals did the same. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2024/04/liverpool-announce-safe-standing-expans...

The Bernabeu is such a magnificent stadium, now fully enclosed with retractable roof. Worthy of such games.

You may not have noticed a solar eclipse is taking place across the pond. Now I find it quite interesting and watched a bit of it.

It's over in minutes. But they're going from state to state to see it over and over. Needless to say I've turned it off.

Personally i like to see all 4 forwards interchange, move around, pose different challenges to the opposition.
I agree, mixing it up to keep the opposition on its toes.

On another note I'm assuming others had difficulty getting on here Monday morning.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

I'm assuming Moyes will do what he's got to do and his record in Europe with us means I don't care with whatever he has to do to give us a chance of getting through bar cheating. If that makes sense. I feel a 1 goal defeat away may be the best result to come back with. It sounds stupid I know but I ...
