Not for me. If they're being a ****er when they're pissed up, they were a ****er to begin with.
You've never met someone who turns into a bellend after a few drinks? Or someone who at the very least gets brave and stupid?

Fair enough.

Re: Sharpe assault [non WHU]

But where is the incentive for clubs to do this? This would only come about if the club were made an example of with a huge fine or points deduction and I see no real clamour for either. Yeah, fine them substantially if they don't comply. Clubs can decide whether they stand by dick head fans or pay...

Re: Sharpe assault [non WHU]

Fans can be generally kept off the pitch with adequate stewarding but that does risk crushing, so sometimes safer to let them on. Just ban them. It's quite simple. 6-12 month ban for coming on the pitch. Doesn't matter how many of them there are or how long it takes. Clubs have the resources, they ...

There is a reason PSG signed him.
They didn't. He came through their youth system.

Worked well with Saha years ago.
Saha wasn't selfish at all, and worked really hard. An excellent team player for all his clubs.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Bizarrely, based on his playing style, I actually thought the opposite and flagged him before the summer as someone who I thought would work in our system. Really? He doesn't work hard at all, is selfish, not a willing runner, not a team player generally and seems to only thrive when the entire att...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I genuinely can't think of a player in world football who is less of a David Moyes player than Memphis Depay.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

My experience of watching him is that he's slightly overrated defensively and an absolute atrocity of a footballer with the ball in his possession.

Re: If You Won the Lottery.

Yeah, I don't see how not broadcasting your lottery win to the world is living a lie.

Just because you don't announce it publicly doesn't mean you have to keep it a secret.

Re: If You Won the Lottery.

You'd be absolutely mental to go public. I don't see a single benefit in doing so.

Wealthy anonymity is pretty much the ideal state to find yourself in.

We are over due a big housing market crash
Supposedly, but they tend not to happen while interest rates are low, which they are, and unemployment is low, which it is.

I've had people telling me it's due for the last 5 years.

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-202?

I thought the idea of raising interest rates was to discourage people from doing just that. Spend less because you don't have it to curb inflation Reason it's not going down is because it's on things we can't do without! We're also post Covid. There's life to be lived and fun to be had. I save, but...

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-202?

I think a big part of the adjustment people are having to make is we have been manipulated over the last couple of decades to be an indebted society. Borrow and spend it will all be fine. Saving is pointless just keep fuelling the consumer machine. Low interest, cheap stuff, relatively low bills. I...
