Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

Right where?

Unless you're trying to make the case that Noble would be anywhere near an all time West Ham 11 then I don't think you've actually absorbed what I wrote.

Sounds like they were quite good ones then.

Re: ✍️ Welcome Mohammed Kudus

He shouldn't be taking Antonio's place imo. It seems pretty clear to me that he does his best work in a less disciplined role, while facing the goal and working off a more traditional striker. You take away a large part of his creative ability by forcing him into trying to keep centrebacks occupied ...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

Nice to tie him down a bit before the England games. :newthumb: Given our previous history with guys suffering career defining injuries in the England squad I'd have thought Bowen would be happier about the timing of his new £60mil deal than West Ham. I am, of course, pleased he has signed it. Coul...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

At the Gang of Four gig on Friday, there was a girl probably early-mid 20s in the front row and she was going mental throughout the whole gig - bouncing up and down, dancing wildly and just exploding with energy. I don't think I've ever been that excited about anything , and I kind of envy her that...

Rishi Sunak walking his dog up Coombe Hill near Wendover.

Didn't realise he was an actual midget till today. Big gust of wind could theoretically have killed him up there. Have to assume one of the 4 visible body guards had a piece of string tied to him or something.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

He's adding thousands to his weekly wage with each passing game at the moment, given how well he's performing.

He'll be content to wait for as long as possible before signing anything right now. His value is only going one direction.

Was trying to explain that the stuff she's learning now (kayaking, judo) will stay with her for life, and whenever she wants to dip back in, she'll always have a strong base to continue from. Hopefully she can do both at university, if she decides to go, and get involved in those clubs, rather than...

Confirmed, made the JDS. Am very proud. Means she'll have to start doing morning training, too, which will be an interesting challenge  That's great. A friend of mine was on the shortlist for an Olympic team GB spot as a rower a decade or so ago. Nobody saw her for the whole year pretty much....

I was at my mates the other day watching his kids 'play' this game. They spent the entire time I was there buying and selling footballers as cards on some internal marketplace. They didn't seem interested in playing any football, more just collecting and building a team of name players. My mate conf...

Yep, and give an additional boost to unregulated black market also.

Any mention of alcohol in this crusade?

Re: Little things that irritate you

There's a bloke I know in the town I live. He's pretty much always lived here, never really worked, never done much of anything. He lives in a single room in a shared house, is on benefits and apart from occasionally refereeing local football matches, nobody is aware of him having had a job in more ...

I ordered one of the these just now. Thanks for the link. Got the most powerful one with all the fan and case additions. Are they reasonably straightforward to setup? I've seen some of the crazy applications people have used them for in the past, I've no intention to do anything particularly excitin...

Re: Northern Lights

I went to Iceland, rented a van and drove round the perimeter of the entire country, sleeping in the van. One of the best trips I've ever done. Firmly recommend, but not really viable in winter time. Didn't see lights as it was August and it basically didn't get dark, at any point. Dim for a bit in ...

Burgers, bacon, kebabs, curry, ready meals etc. I make food from scratch now and rarely get a takeaway. It’s a post bowel cancer thing but I’ve become a far more discerning eater. Fair enough man. It doesn't sound like it was the meat that was the issue then, more the link between a more junky type...

I find Huberman is like this. Too much of an information dump. Hard to follow, hard to stay interested, ...
