Re: Wimbledon Dog Track RIP
I lived a 2-3 minute walk from Romford Dogs for 18 months and never went. I'm now a 15 minute walk away and I still haven't gone. Thing is I'm not sure why as every time I have gone (last time was at least 10 years ago) I've had a good night. I must give it another go. How much is it to get in thes...

Man 10 Man United 2 Just too good & strong...a real class act. Must say what a very poor crowd there was yesterday...looked like even more of a mugfest than usual. People leaving in the 11th round...and i don't mean a couple. All this atmosphere cobblers...just a hall full of drunk Mancs acting ...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???
The really sad thing about all this is that we probably have the most decent guy as manager in the Prem yet his bosses who are totally out of their depth are one of the worst. All this cobblers about blaming Bilic for Payet and how he announced it to the press was one of the few things this club has...

I'm not sure how the "on course" bookies operate, but it does seem to me (even at the horses), they make/lose their money and then f**k off (maybe somebody can correct me if I'm wrong). But you're right when you say it's become an expensive night out Rom. I think the reason is, it's becom...

Re: Wimbledon Dog Track RIP
Sadly Rom, Wimbledon's been dying on it's a**e for years. I think the only time it got a "crowd" as such, was nights like the greyhound derby. The only part of the stadium that was busy on any particular night, was where you could wine and dine behind the glass. I think the dogs is just a...

On a totally different note...with Turkey being off limits too many, these golf trips that people do must be more difficult to book ?

Re: The Golf Thread
Please note that now this is no longer part of a larger forum (NuMB, as it was) it is not necessary to have one all-encompassing thread per sport. As per GD, feel free to use a new thread for each new event. Same goes for all other sports/events on here. Glad to hear that all sports will be treated...

So Germany doesn't boss Europe already ?? Everyone in Germany that i met thinks they do already.....they also seem to be able to ignore any laws bought in that they don't agree with. Lets be honest here...we had absolutely no influence and all we got out of the EU in reals terms was the free market....

Leicester fans talking about atmosphere and stadiums
Lets see in 5 seasons time what they think about the grounds they will be playing in....
After just coming back for supposedly one of the great football theatre's in the world in Dortmund, ours sits surprisingly favourably.

Re: 2017 Ireland V England Rugby Union Match thread
If you consider how many people don't know the offside law in football and then think about how many ways it is possible to be offside in Rugby Union, is that surprising? To be fair, the laws have probably changed a hell of a lot since you stopped playing. I stopped in 2002 and they have changed en...

I didn't take it as a dig mate was just saying the only reason I learnt them was to not seem stupid, only to find that most of the crowd had different variations anyway If you fancy sampling it at any time, I would be happy to sort you a couple of tickets. Serious offer. It reminds me of being at f...

So why didn't it seem to effect him jumping for the rest of the game especially the one in the 2nd half where he took 2 defenders out ??Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote:Is it remotely possible that Carroll's failure to clear the corner is because he's still carrying the groin injury and can't fully launch into a jump?

Rom Will they take a £10 down the rest over 100 months and a lifetime supply of KY Jelly, I always respect your views mate, but just how far do you recon the £25 to £ 30 mill is going to stretch? Lets be honest they will spend the least possible to stay in the league, £30m should be spent on one st...
