Re: Little things that irritate you
When someone stole some money from my account, my bank Natwest decided to text me.
I assumed their text was a phishing attempt and ignored it. I realised it was real nearly a week later when I couldn't buy anything online.

With the amount of c**** out there trying to scam everyone, it's always best to err on the side of caution.
I had the same when some **** from Play Del Carmen in Mexico, was trying to withdraw money from my account, it's only because I had recently been there, that I decided to ring the bank to find out if it was legit.

These stupid cows have made millions from Disney and have now decided to slag them off. Bet they wouldn't dream of giving back the paycheque.

Service providers must be in on it, selling phone numbers or other bits of information.DasNutNock wrote:No, but along those lines. Presumably it was a guess, then. Cheeky f*ckers. I have no idea why service providers can't shut that sh*t down.

I won’t be allowing my children to watch films with Keara Knightley in them, because she’s such a laughably sh*t actress.claretandblue82 wrote:https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-45900794" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just hope it never reaches the same popularity here as it does in the US or Canada. http://fortune.com/2016/10/31/americans ... ween-2016/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Tenbury wrote:Hallo-bleedin -ween. What a load of crap.
Even in Canada it's mental how much is spent on this, temporary stores opening up for 6 weeks prior to the night, all full of Far Eastern tat, I'm talking some store of 5000 sq ft plus all the $ stores and there plenty of them everywhere.

Yup - fireworks sold in supermarkets are an utter nuisance. At the very least, they shouldn't be able to sell the noise-making ones that do nothing more than make an antisocial racket and scare children and pets.

a) You can disable purchasing via Alexa (obviously the first thing I did when I got ours last year).Mega Ron wrote:Alexa.

b) It's quite handy for streaming music to the kitchen. Sometimes, you just have to dance round the kitchen, mostly to 60s/70s/80s Soul.
c) Fair point, no-one should be bragging about owning one.
