But no one points out the brutality in kosher meat. Maybe because it’s not Islam
If kosher meat is slaughtered the same way as halal meat, of course it's as bad.
However, Judaism isn't bothered about what people eat in KFC. It doesn't appear to want to impose itself on non-believers.

You can't get bacon in Specsavers either.
However,if you go in and ask for some, you're probably in the right place.

Your Christmas dinner is on it's way to be bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer as I type.

Sledgehammer you say? At least the meat will be nice and tender.

I thought that they just sliced their heads off. I don't know what they do with the turkey ones, but the pigs ones get sent to David Cameron to satisfy his cravings.

I watched a man kill a cow with a sledgehammer in a Vietnamese village in 2014.

It was one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen. I don't eat meat anymore.

I know of a lad who started in a slaughter house in Guildford. He was given a sledgehammer and told to get to work. He asked if they had a bolt gun, and they laughed, said they didn't have anything new like that. He spent the morning smashing cows with a hammer, got to lunch and went into the canteen. As he went in, everyone cheered and applauded. They were just having him on about not having a bolt gun, just a bit of fun with the new guy.

Surprisingly he didn't go back to work after lunch.

Generally, I agree with S-H, but sadly when people work in industries like this, they develop a very sick sense of humour.

Wow, that's not what you expect when you're out that way and you go to see someone hammer an old cow.

I suppose that happens as a result of them becoming desensitised. Probably couldn't do the job if they didn't (become desensitised, not play appalling, sick pranks).

On a similar note, I saw a video the other day of a sheep taking out a cow that was charging at it. THWACK, old Shaun nutted it right between the eyes and the cow just flopped twitching.

I opened a new pack of bacon last night. Still in date but bloody 'ell, it really stunk to high heaven & no way was I going to eat it.
After what I wrote the other day, perhaps it was karma ham...
