Close to my manor there. I’m originally a Folkestone boy. And yes, the seagulls around here are particularly obnoxious.

That was a very c***ish thing for them to do.
Mind you, they had to pay for all that dog end picking up..
No mate, this was back in the day when you couldn't appeal until after the time limit on paying a reduced fine had elapsed. The last thing I wanted to do was give even more money to the thieving gits, hence my one man dog end crusade against them......

V unfair, imo.
FYI:
Now, you first make an informal representation (appeal).
As it's to the council, who want the free money, they'll probably blow it out. However, they will still offer you the 14 day 'discount'.
Then you can make a formal representation (appeal).
As it's again to the council, being utter c*nts, they'll probably still blow it out again. However, they STILL have to offer you the 14 day 'discount'.
This is now when it gets tricky. Do you pay at 'reduced' or carry on?
To appeal further, you now have to go to independent adjudication, (if you're in London) called, 'London Tribunals' (used to be called PATAS).
If you lose there, you WON'T then have the option of paying 'half'.
It's very often not easy to know beforehand if you have a good case for winning at adjudication.

If it's any consolation del, as it was a bus that you were letting through (& not an emergency service vehicle) I really don't think that you would have won your case anyway, in that instance, even though you were obviously trying to be a considerate driver.

Trying to get to Southend Half marathon on Sunday, without driving.

Buses don't go early enough. C2C is a bus replacement. GA trains not early enough, and still need to get out to Shoeburyness. Running the thing will be easier...

Squirrels.
They're just rats with furry tails.
They eat all the bird food and dig up the garden.
Shooting is too good for the little s**ts.
