What about the plastic discs that sit on top of the cups that the straw goes through?jastons wrote:Reading that McDonald's paper straws can't be recycled yet the plastic ones they replaced were 100% recyclable

I have no idea but it is worth remembering that just because something is recyclable doesn't mean it will get recycled. How much stuff just gets mixed in with landfill rubbish? Domestic and Commercial.

When people in shops give you your change, and they put the coins on top of the note, which they put flat in your hand.
Give them me separately, you c****.

Recyclable or not - the most important thing to me is that they're biodegradable.jastons wrote:Reading that McDonald's paper straws can't be recycled yet the plastic ones they replaced were 100% recyclable

Had that last night too. I had to remind them several times that they were playing Norwich who were absolutely awful.WHU Independent wrote:Scousers in my local bigging it up and telling everyone they are gonna win the league - already!

Re: Little things that irritate you
People in work doing things for charity when in realty it's more for themselves. If they want to run a race in the Andes just piss off over there and run it, instead we get the sob story "well if I don't raise the £1600 entrance fee and expenses I won't be able to go and the baby puppies need help".
How about the chancing gits go for a run round Epping Forest instead and put the first £1600 raised towards their given charity instead of themselves?

Yep but they shouldn't bio degrade whilst you're still using it. Which they seem to do-DL- wrote: Recyclable or not - the most important thing to me is that they're biodegradable.
Who'd have thought paper would get soggy if you put it in liquid

As Doug Stanhope says...."are your friends so tight fisted and sadistic that they wouldn't just give you ten dollars for a worthy cause if you asked them? Why make it about you? I'm walking ten miles for the cure and for every mile people will cheer me and give me a dollar and tell me I'm doing a great thing."delbert wrote:People in work doing things for charity when in realty it's more for themselves.
Or something like that, but he does it better.

Seconded on paper straws. Absolutely useless in a milkshake.
Also, the sheer inability of so, so many people to drive properly on a motorway or any sort of dual carriageway.
