Oh, don't forget 'Becky Falls' near Newton Abbot or even Widecombe in the Moor.
Lovely places & little fear of running into S-H...well actually, he might be closer than you think..

My 3 year old planted a Sunflower in nursery, and he has loved helping to look after it for the last few weeks. Sometime in the last 24hrs in the greenhouse the top 6 inches of the stem has snapped off. I'm very f*cking irritated but he will be absolutely devastated.

Indeed, as painfully aspirational middle-class as it sounds. Anyway, it’s raining today, so we’re leaving early. Camping (glamorous or otherwise) and Devon are both white when it rains.

We was in the South hams last week and even managed 2 days on the beach which was a bonus. Plenty of nice places to visit and lots of cracking walks, Get a jacket on and stop moaning

sh*te, not white (obvs).

Would be content with drizzly coastal walks if was just the wife & I, but not with the kids, especially the 1 year old. At least we know we've been doing the right thing all these years by heading to Spain for the week.

Tactical littering.where its obviously far more effort to leave the litter in a hard to reach place than chuck it in a bin.
recent examples include lucozade bottle half way up a tree on the end of a branch in Snowdonia
Half full coke can stood on a cotswold stone wall on a bypass middle of no where
coke can wedged under a car tyre Brecon Beacons. .
If the scum who desecrate these beautiful places I like to walk and kayak knew how much I hate them.

Recycling.
Trying to sort out what can be recycled or not. Turns out I've been making some big mistakes..
Luckily, unlike the story on The One Show tonight, my council haven't started sending out snoopers who go round rummaging through your bins & fining you £100 if you haven't complied. Yet..
Recycling joins the list of things that I won't miss doing when I'm dead.
Hmm, I feel a new thread coming on..

That's not just lazy scum, that's scum with a purpose.
In more suburban **** pits there's something special about imaginative littering, bike frames over lamp posts and that sort of thing. It was common round my way to see old trainers hanging off of telegraph lines, one street had a set of clackers hanging there for years.
On a similar note, when I smoked I'd never throw my dog end out of the car window in a nice area, I made a point of always doing it in Newham though. Partly because the borough is a dump but mainly because the thieving slags done me up on a bus lane camera when I pulled into one to let a bus through coming the other way..........

Did you fight it, del?
That was a very c***ish thing for them to do.
Mind you, they had to pay for all that dog end picking up..
