Little things in life that make you smile

Amazon parcels to be delivered by drone, in 2020 trials.
What could POSSIBLY go wrong?...
How is this going to be possible?

Most drones seem to be able to fly for about 20 minutes before requiring a battery recharge which I'd imagine will be reduced further once it has my camera USB cable (which I seem to lose at least once a week) strapped underneath?

Also can they task the drones not to pretend to knock on the door, before just chucking it over the side gate much in the way their drivers do

If a drone tried delivering my new book today I'd be setting out on a CalMac ferry to fetch it out from the Minch - gales today along with heavy rain and they're forecast for the next 5 days ! :D

The Postman's job is safe up here .

Was watching the First Series of ' Detectorists ' BBC4 all over again yesterday morning - the beautiful Essex / Suffolk countryside always in brilliant sunshine made me long to live there and take up detecting - the best feel good programme EVER .

This last paragraph analogy in a recent Independent article regarding the very slight possibility of hiring Ralf Rangnick as head of sport and development and questioning our clubs way of thinking:

"He could help West Ham actually navigate the ‘right direction,’ because for the past decade the steering has been as good as Michail Antonio’s when he crashed his Lamborghini into a family’s front garden wall while dressed as a snowman".

Diane Abbot's son's full charge sheet in the paper this morning.

What goes around Diane.......

Much as she's an atrocious human being , this must be ****ing appallingly embarrassing for anyone in public office.

We went to Aldeburgh a couple of summers back and we thought the countryside on the way there (from Hampshire - and aside from the M25) was quite stunning in parts. The area around Dedham in Constable country stood out.

In fact, the countryside in the U.K. at this time of year is absolutely superb, I love the silhouettes of the leafless trees set against the sky - the slight tinge of red that birches have is a favourite. Over the last year, I’ve been particularly impressed with the countryside around Stroud, south-east Hampshire (the Meon Valley) and the Tiverton area.

Just been reading about him. If true, what a nasty piece of work he really is.

According to some reports, he has "mental health issues".

Surely if that's the case, he should have had somebody with him at various times.

Still seems a wrong 'un though

A close friend lives in the small town/village of Framlingham where it was filmed. Sheeran is from round that way too.

Beautiful part of the country.
