You can tci. They haven't got the red dye on the end but you can get them. Think they call 'em candy sticks now.
Have it on good authority that one of the Revels used to be turkish delight. Can anyone else remember these.
Also, a pack of sweets called Fruiti-Pops. They were small round things, not lollypops.
Also, back in the day at Easter, you could get a clear plastic, fullsize, 6 egg box with sweet eggs that looked EXACTLY like real eggs. They had a white or brown, extremely hard smooth sugar shell & on the inside was a thin layer of chocolate. I have seen them in some rare, old style sweet shops but they are smaller now & just don't seem the same. Pretty sure they might have been foreign made.
And, back when there was Woolworths & back when they sold loose biscuits, a fantastic biscuit called Carawheat? Lovely biscuit with a thick side of Caramac. The current Caramac Breakaway's are sadly NOTHING like them.
Linked to this thread is things that disappeared but then came back but although they look the same, they absolutely don't taste the same. Alphabet sweets being a case in point.
I miss those old 60's/70's carcinogenic & toxic ingredients...
