Tattoo Question (WHU Related)

Post by simonpaulthomas » Sat Jun 15, 2019 9:24 pm

Right, so for the past two weeks the shop I work in has been smashing out commemorative Liverpool tattoos (on people from Devon, naturally - not a single Mickey has been in for one yet...). I’ve not had the displeasure of having to do one, but it got me wondering;

If West Ham won a cup, would you get a tattoo to mark the occasion? Have you already got the Jules Rimet on you? 8-)

Personally, I find the idea a bit embarrassing, but maybe that’s just sour grapes on my part - I’ve got West Ham related stuff already, but a trophy or whatever just seems tacky?

100% YES. I've left some space on my leg around my West Ham crest for even the slightest whiff of glory.

:crest:

Did you ask these scouse gits how many times they'd been to Anfield and proceed to tell them that you'd been to Anfield more times than they had?

If you do get asked to do a Liverpool tattoo, could you not get a sudden bout of dyslexia? :twisted:

Judging by his reaction times, it often looked like he was wearing a real suit of armour when he was in goal for us.

Why not? West Ham have been part of my life for years, had some of the best (and worst) times following 'em. Met some mates for life and had some proper emotional times following this club. Why would you not want to get that tattooed on yourself? Of all my tatts, my West Ham tattoo and band tattoos mean the most to me.

There was another tattoo thread in the Snug but can't seem to find it. What was the name of the place in Romford/Hornchurch people recommended?

From what i remember Rio it might have been Jayne Doe in Hornchurch. Although I've not been tattooed by him a lot of my friends have and the work is very good. His name is Ryan if you want to go and see him (it's not his studio btw, don't know who runs it).

Also - Fudushin tattoo in Wanstead is very good. All the guys there do top quality work.

Never had a tattoo, I guess I must be in the minority these days. Dont really have anything against them and some look pretty amazing but just not for me.
