GCRO

if you get through HALF of them, you'll need Saturday off too !!!!!!!

off to The Pub for a couple of hours Saturday - their Sour Apple Cider was exactly that. way too sour to be drinkable for me. had a taste but no.....only cider I remember drinking was at least somewhat sweet to very sweet. this took the saliva out of my mouth as it went down !!!!!!

their IPA is well drinkable.

The Westmalle is 9.5% so if I make it down to that one, it'll be the nail in the coffin for sure.

Caned the greek stuff Mythos whilst on Holiday.

Nothing great but quite refreshing when served up in an ice cold glass on a hot night.

Much preferred it to Mythos. Found that played havoc with my guts.

lidl in portugal sells steam brew, some kind of fancy steampunk themed beers, in cans.
nothing too exciting, but they cost less than super bock and sagres (two beers i'm really tired of).

I had a pint of draft Lagunas IPA they other day, which I found to be totally flowery. I drank it but then switched to draft Peroni, which was lovely.

I was sat watching the cricket at lunchtime on a big screen outside work in a deck chair supping a Schniederweiss - and getting paid for it too. Glorious... :scarfer:

Love this stuff, goes down a treat. The story is that a member of the Theakston's Brewing family fell out with everybody and set up his own brewery, hence black sheep of the family.

Drinking San Miguel at the moment.
