Aldi are doing some of the William Bros Brewery craft beers in cans and they're amazing. I tried their West Coast IPA and their Belgian IPA and they were superb, really well brewed.

I did a 3 month freeze in the summer/autumn, and they've dropped my subscription to £23 for 10 beers a month, but the standard has very much dropped from last summer. Far too many crappy milkshake IPA and funky flavours. I've had a few that were that bad I poured them down the sink.
I don't mind the selection, it's just I'm a little bored with it all now.

I’ve just signed up for a free case of beer from www.beer52.com/mince

The ad kept on being played whilst listening to the Athletico Mince podcast ... which incidentally is hilarious.

Just need to pay for postage and remember to cancel after the first delivery if you don’t want it to carry on!

Hobgoblin IPA from Wychwood Brewery.

Surprisingly good, tropical and grapefruit zestiness with a nicely bitter aftertaste.

5.3% :)

Wetherspoons have got Greene King to exclusively brew them Abbot Ruby Ale which is really nice, and only £2.25 a pint too!

Highly recommended!

EugeneSpeed wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2019 3:30 pm Worth getting some of the Fullers Vintage Ale 2019 if you see them. Often in Waitrose. £6 a bottle, but quite a market for old bottles. I have a few knocking about the house. None as old as this though...

Picked up 4 of those today
I also noticed that Waitrose still have the 2018 available for 6 quid a pop too, So I have put 4 on order

Estrella Galica - wonderful stuff - a slightly more bitter taste yet still a refreshing and (very) easy beer to drink.

Ah, nice. I usually drink 1, save 1. I have no idea if people ever buy the old ones at those eBay prices but they're nice to have as a treat.

Bumping this thread because the brewery mentioned in the link is just down the road from me. They've been told to change their label because it's too "child friendly", based on one complaint.

I'm not sure Hofmeister's follow the bear adverts would be allowed nowadays.

Those Corona lagers have apparently taken a huge hit in sales and I know it sounds incredibly punny, but they may not recover

Banks’s Bitter is still 89p a bottle. For my money, the best value beer in the world.
