As they say, you can't out train a bad diet! Even though I'm building now I'm still tracking calories with My Fitness Pal and have gradually increased week on week while monitoring my weight to try to ascertain my maintenance calories. It's a drawn out process but more reliable than a TDEE calculator. Ive got back and calves to do in a bit, doing a 5 day split which helps me keep accountable - I know I can't skip any day 😁

Bleep tests are bloody horrible.

IIRC Snodgrass and Cresswell fare well in ours usually.

I'm trying sober October, I usually have a couple of beers every night after work, about 8 on the weekend depending on what I'm doing and where I am and a bottle of wine with my Sunday dinner.
Lunchtime I go out for a Gregg's, McDonald's etc
Last week I completely cut out the drink, I took some fruit and salad for lunch and the wife made a healthy dinner from her weight watchers recipe book every night.
I weighed myself last Monday at 6am when I got up, I have just weighed myself again at 6am this Monday....
Exactly the bloody same :|

I hate it when that happens Image

Just make sure you take in less calories than you use. Sometimes though things like water weight will screw up what you thought was a good week. Ive had weeks where Ive trained hard, limited calories and avoided booze yet have put on weight. Other weeks Ive let things slip a bit and my weight has dropped by a few pounds. Just keep at it and you'll see results eventually. Im down 60lbs since April, 18 stone to 13 10, but it has slowed down since re-discovering beer! However, I only drink on weekends and that still allows a calorie deficit if I eat well on the days 'off'.

183lbs this morning. Hard to think I was 252 at the end of March. took a separation to kick start the process and a lot of hard work since. At the time it was tough but 2019 has been one hell of a good year.

Anything is possible if you concentrate your mind.

Dont get swept into a thinking comfortable lifestyle is the best one.

Happy Xmas everyone
