That coat would be horrid even of it was only a tenner.

This thread ought to merge into the things which irritate me thread. Unbelievable how so many kids these days walk about with near enough a grand's worth of clothes these days. A lot even have rucksacks which which are worth more than my car.

Below is £2690.00

Christ alive, I remember as a kid my mum used to buy me jeans from Romford market for a fiver, and they still looked better than half of the things posted on this thread.

How about these jeans:

Only £450
That looks like the designers have carried out an exercise of making every measurement just ever so slightly wrong, so it is guaranteed to annoy the hell out of us old geezers. And they have succeeded.

Yep, Uniqlo do some cracking denim. Selvedge jeans for less than £40. Can't grumble.

I once spent £90 on a plain black shirt from Ted Baker for a big night out. I wore it once. Couldn’t feel more embarrassed tbh.

People are truly ****ing retarded aren't they.

I mean. What the **** are those monstrosities? Those red things are a sock with some plastic stuck to the bottom.

You'd have to be properly boring to want to shell out that type of money on those things. £5-700 gets you a banging holiday, a years worth of gigs, a season ticket to a sports team.

Not as ****ing retarded as judging others on the clothes they wear and how they spend their money.

half a shoe

I think the red sock/trainers look alright & very comfortable, my boy has a couple of similar pairs (different colour/name) but same sort of style, cost about £200 I think, he loves the look & comfort.

I use to spend fortunes on my threads, calmed down somewhat over the last few years excluding work suits & formal shoes. Go to trainer is the Adidas Superstar (RUN DMC), can usually get those from £55 to £80 - I like a gazelle as well. Reebok for CV in gym, again, they just seem to work for me in regards to comfort.

Jeans I like the most now are Diesel & Police, they always seem the best fit for me.

My more expensive clothes (in the main) have always worn & washed better than cheaper. I do think you get what you pay for, until you get to silly money for clothes / shoes like the last few pics on here.

I wonder if wearing £500 trainers feels that much different to the above?
I strongly suspect not.

You're right in that people can spend their money in absolutely any way that they like, Richie.
Doesn't mean that we can't take the piss out of them though.
