Re: West Ham vs Blackburn match thread
I really hope we play 4-4-2 with cole and nouble upfront. I think nouble and cole would be a brilliant strike duo, with diamanti in midfield to create some chances.

Agreed, and incidentally, I think we will win 4-2 as wellMuddy wrote:I really hope we play 4-4-2 with cole and nouble upfront. I think nouble and cole would be a brilliant strike duo, with diamanti in midfield to create some chances.
Re: West Ham vs Blackburn match thread
We always do better with 4-4-2. Now we have cole back we can go back on the attack. Playing with cole in an actuall match will be great experience for nouble aswell.

Parker, Cole, and ILLunga back wahooo. Backs to the wall boys :raver:
Ps Gabbidon and another seen doing some strenuous exercises at a gym in Gidea Park, so can't be long for his return either.

Re: West Ham vs Blackburn match thread
llunga back is crucial ...with a defensive midfield an attacking wing back is essential.
Not getting it from the existing pair despite loads of good possession means attacking chances are limited.
Do hope he starts.

Shame we didnt have Parker against Portmouth as he would of covered for tomkins to stop the Webber goal.

Re: West Ham vs Blackburn match thread
Can only see this one being a draw, just hope I'm wrong.
I'd start with Diamanti, he normally provides a bit of spark in the home matches.
Their brick ****-house centre halves will provide a test for young Nouble as well.

A win.
It always is.
I fully expect the referee to see to that.
They always do when we play this mob.
Dunno why - but they do.
Cue a lot of over enthusiastic tripe about some of our very one dimensional players.

Re: West Ham vs Blackburn match thread
Quietly confident about this game, we have a good record against this lot.
Hoping we play 442 but i think Zola will rest Cole again and bring him on for the second half, hopefully not at the expense of Nouble who could have his hands full with Samba and Nelsen. Cole and Nouble could be a very good partnership, add Benni next week and with the return of Franco we should have enough firepower to keep us up.
Im going for 2-0 with Collison and Cole scorers. COYI

2-2. 1-0 down. 2-1 up with ten to play then they equalise. And Diamanti breaks a leg, or Cole breaks down. Leading to a frantic "who will we sign on deadline day" panic. Leading to finding out we signed Mido.

Wouldn't be the first time.stu1 wrote:
Please tell me you are joking. I think you should read the mark noble debate thread, because according to you 90% on there dont know what they are talking about.
Obviously you didn't see the portsmouth gamestu1 wrote: Mark Noble going forward and picking out the final ball well, is something havent seen that in the last two years, so dont expect it to change.

What you don't think players can be on the same wave length? Or that you have to be equal to a player to understand his movement?stu1 wrote: P.S Noble being on the same wave length as Tevez, that is an even worse comment.
You don't really understand football do you?
No that was in the first half, I'm talking about the one in the second half.stu1 wrote:Oh and Jim the ball to Nouble you are talking about was by Behrami
I see in the cardiff thread stu you've recommended we pay £3-3.5M for ledley who is both injured for the rest of the season and out of contract in the summer, like I said naive.

'Who's another?'
No one recognised him , might have been someone from the stiffs.
