Great result for us and also good results elsewhere. Happy we got the 3rd, by the sounds of it, it did our performance justice.

Glad Faubert broke his duck, Cole got another goal, we kept a clean sheet, Phil Brown was embarrassed by his stupid decision and we're now 13th and ahead of Sunderland.

Made my day.

CARLTON COLE!!!!

f*** HESKEY, WE NEED HIM IN THE ENGLAND XI. HE DOES HESKEYS JOB 5 TIMES BETTER, AND HE CAN SCORE GOALS

The whole team was flawless today, brilliant performance. Give us a nice boost we need with those away games coming up

So glad i got it wrong on my earlier prediction. Well played lads, nice to see Faubert get on the scoresheet for all his good work recently. More of the same against Bolton next home game please. Think i'll settle for a point at Old Trafford in the week

Brilliant!

Diamanti deservedly MOM but closely run by Faubert who was magnifique.

Playing like that I can see us winning all our home games and finishing up repectable mid table. :D

Ship steadied and kick on from there.

Any think that we were taking it easy when they were down to 9 men? It seemed like we were happy to pass it around and backwards a lot, just seeing out the game. It was only Faubert who seemed to want to get forward and score. Anyway, not complaining, only seven teams have scored more goals than us.

IF both teams play like they did today then we should get all three... I watched both games and we were by far the better side!

I will not complain. A great performance from Julien Faubert and it's surely going to make him a better player with us behind him, and the belief will grow.
Valon was impressive, but is NOT worth 15 mill... Diamanti was great too, and I was delighted with his dynamics and that 50 yard effort was brilliant... would have done cartwheels if it went in.
The two up front were superb too, and Carlton's finish was sublime. Again - when he's this confident he is such a menace and Fabio Capello must be happy with his return back and put him on the plane for South Africa in a few months.
No arguments, we're now 13th and our home form will save us no doubt if we carry on with this belief.

Great result today 3-0 looks lovely but I've just taken a look at the league table and although we are now climbing up the table, we're still in the **** big time, but this win does put a bit of day light between us and the rest. Had we won some of the games in which we had the lead but blew it, like Hull and Sunderland away and a few other dodgy results, we would be edging towards safety now.

Our next games do look abit scary, but remember
Arsenal 2-2
Chelsea 1-1 (we should've won)
Liverpool 3-2
everton 2-1
manccunts 4-0 (everton managed to do em 3-1 so why can't we?)

Phil Brown

Slagged off his players for not following team plan, didn't blame the ref for sending off. Unusual to hear stuff like that.

Excellent result. That ball from Faubert for the second goal was amazing. It's brilliant how he has come on this season. Let's hope the team is full of confidence now because we have a really great run of fixtures coming up at home. The away matches are pretty much the worst you could have chosen but four wins will definitely keep us up. Win our next couple of home games and we should be looking up rather than down, even.

According to the BBC we had 20 attempts, 12 on target.

If Faubert gets any better, the blunts will be claiming he is ineligable.

Cracking result today and a top performance from Behrami and Faubert amongst others...great to see Faubert get on the score sheet finally as well!

The 6 points in the last 2 were so crucial with the games coming up......

Well done Frankie, I've been critical of him this season but he has finally got them geed up.
