Re: Sunderland Match Thread

a tiny tiny crumb of comfort I can take is that S*nderland cant relegate us. That would have finished me off!

I was actually thinking about going to the game as i'm in oxford next weekend but arrangements have changed so have knocked it on the head.

---------------------Green------------------
Spence--Tomkins--Da Costa--Brown
Parker--Collison--Noble/Hitzlsperger
Sears---------Cole---------------Ba

Only playing Ba on the left because Carlton Cole, despite the stick he gets, deserves a send off for his services to the club, one player who really does care.

I'll clap all of them players, saves me having a boo fest.

F*ck the players, f*ck the board.
It's going to be a hot day, the sun will be shining, it's our last prem game. We'll wave goodbye to the Mackems, have a few beers,a good ol'singsong and a nice jolly.
Forget this awful season and look forward to next year's away days on the south coast, the demise of the OS move (please please please) and the lack of daytrippers.
Going down? Who gives a f*ck. It's only football.

Give Parker and Green a proper send off and play Ba to give us a decent chance of winning the game. Then fill the team with players who are likely to be featuring next season........ f*** all the other lazy, useless overpaid c****

With Vose, Fry, Tombides, getting a run out!
What about the ' captain' ?

Am i alone in hoping that Upson is forced to play in this game so we can show him what we think of him ?

We need to play Upson, Upson needs to play

Would go with Green
Spence Tomkins Upson Brown
Stanislas/Sears Collison Spector Barrea
Ba Tombides

See if that midfield looks any good for next year

Cole is an easy target, he has provided a service the last few years, his goals probably kept us up last year along with Ilan, he seems a big confidence player when he had clarke and Zola massaging him everyweek he was a lot better, I think either doesn't deserve the abuse.

Sunderland @ Home - Party Time

Post by Harlow Hammer »

Well now we know we're down may as well make the most of it on Sunday.

Let's lift the doom and gloom and let the board and the players know that we will be back next year in full voice.

Give the players that deserve it a show of appreciation. Green and Parker are the only ones to be fair.

Please no one bring those poxy signs saying we'll be back either

Maybe even try and persuade Parker and Green to give us at least until to Jan to see where we are.

Come on you irons

they know this already! its time for action has they speak louder than words. a real protest against the board is a better thing to do, imo.

A real protest against the board would be an empty house, no one turning up for the game, but that would never happen.
