Someone questioned a few pages ago the need for two holding midfielders, the answer to you sir is yes we need them. Categorically so in my opinion.

I have argued more than most that 451 is too negative but Sunderland away was an example of how exposed we are without Diame and Noble and I honestly think had we not been playing 451 all season we would have shipped a lot more goals so would be a few points worse off and as a result, right in the sh*t.

We need Diame and Noble in the side together. They have been awesome as a pairing, they break up attacks before half of our fans even realise there is a threat.

As for the rest of the side I would like Sam to be a little more adventurous but it is not going to happen. He favours a solid four at the back (as would most managers) and he likes Nolan playing in the hole. This leaves very little in the way of options.

That was me Sutts. The reason I questioned it was because Bubbles66 was proposing Diarra, not Diame.
To me Diarra is a DM but Diame offers much more.

I would prefer to see JOB at right back to Demmel simply cos he's a better defender. Not so good coming forward I accept, but Demmel's defending at Arsenal was abysmal, not that he was alone there. And that's not the first time his defending has been very suspect. JOB at right back though is as solid as a rock defending.

Another go for Jordan Spence I hope, (who did play LB the other day did he not?). A bit strange to be MoTM against ManU and after that not even make the bench.
