Changing the graphics back to the claret, only won once with the new white one, not that I'm superstitious. Thought I'd jump in with this one and let Dyers Leg start the Villa thread

And so to the visit of our Welsh cousins. It's either drink talking, or jive talkin, but I reckon we can win this.

We have to win this. I will never live it down in work otherwise. I still get stick about the 0-1 Cup defeat at the Vetch in the late 90s. Come on lads.....please.

I never thought I'd say this but Swansea are a better side than the current hammers. A point would be an ok result.

Would be a bloody miracle based on both sides current form!

I know we're grand at home but there are a list of reasons for us to be concerned, very concerned.

They are superior in every aspect, except for maybe set pieces. That said, we need to buck our ideas up and get something from this. We reslly need a home win here.

We need Collins and Carroll back asap. We have to win this to get some confidence for Villa and Spurs.

This is by no means a knee jerk reaction buy I can't see us getting anything from this game we have come unstuck more than once against teams who play passing football this season and they ruined us at their place. Not feeling optimistic at all. Scoring more than one goal might help our cause.

Really, really struggling to muster up the effort to watch this one. A massive first for me, and a weird feeling.

I'm sure my attitude will change by Saturday and I'll for some reason believe we'll take points, but right now the head says a deflated performance from our boys, and a comfortable stroll in the park win for Swansea.

2-0.

I'm in exactly the same boat. It'd be the first weekend match and only the second I haven't watched this season. I reckon we're gonna get done 3-1.

It's got so bad that unless we sign a new goalkeeper I might end up not even arguing when the missus tells me we have to go clothes shopping on Saturday :|

We are okay at home, I'll go for a draw. I would bring Pogatez in thought just to give us more spine than we seem to lack without Collins.

Swansea have lost their way a little of late (playing wise..) but this is mainly because teams are trying to press up and kill their rythm high up the pitch. Don't think we have the players to do that succesfully and our tactics prefer us to get rid of the ball as soon as we can. Sorry but can't see us getting anything from this one unfortunately.

Just like the Fulham match thread (and more before it), most seem to keep calling for Sam to play 2 up front, and yet it appears it isn't ever going to happen.

May be wasting typing.
