Great work from Ricardo - loads of details .

I reckon this could be a tough opener .Malky Mackay is no mug and he's recruited ambitiously .Given the absence of Carroll up top Sam's powers of creativity will be put to the test , which in itself, is no bad thing .

Let's not forget he was brave enough to play 3 at the back away at Old Trafford last season, and nearly pulled it off , so contrary to some views he does have the ability to play different styles depending upon available personnel .

I can't see him giving Downing a game if he joins with only a couple of training sessions left this week , so assuming Maiga bids us au revoir before Saturday , we could see

-----------------Jussi---------------

Demel--Reid--Collins-----Rat

---------Nobes--------Mo--------

Cole---Morrison---Nolan--Jarvis

Anyways, a tough game ,I'm going 1-1

Yes. They will also be absolutely fired up for this.

I remember last time we kicked off the season against Cardiff with great expectations.

I'm going for a rather fortunate 2-1.

Just reading the first few posts in their thread. They seem pretty confident in getting a result. "No one in that side scares me" is a comment that jumped out at me.

They must of missed our home form last season.

Got a feeling Cole's going to change their mind on who to fear!

A lot of 3-1, 2-0 predictions out of the recently promoted club. Sounds like they aim to punch well above their weight this year, based on that type of optimism.

Haha not being funny but it happens all the time.

Even with us.

I try not to get annoyed about it but they should realise that they still have a largely Championship team.

Whilst they bang on about beating us 1 - 0 and it being quite special... they forget we absolutely thumped them when it mattered in the Play Offs

I hope their over confidence comes back to bite them on their arse. It's going to be a tough game because they will proper be up for it but they have about 1 level headed fan on that forum (the one who acknowledged our amazing home form last season)

In the Premier League they also need to remember it's Cardiff who? Don't get too big for your boots.

Jesus, 28 million quid they've spent strengthening this summer. Be interesting to see if these players produce this season, and if they do could they please do it starting the following weekend. I thankya.
