Except we are definitely going to play Diame out wide to shoe horn Nolan.bubbles1966 wrote:Diame dispossessed them in their half ten times in the first half of the game last year, Proph.
Absolutely pony conversion by our front six on the day (Nolan shoe horned into the team on the right wing, Tomkins at DM) , compounded by mistakes by Jussi and Collins scuppered us and gifted them a game that we really ought to have won. Yes, they looked good second half - but we'd already thrown the game away.
I can't see us making the same mistake again.
I know it's tempting fate, but I fancy us more strongly in this game than I have in any game this year.
Swansea 0-0 West Ham Utd (27/10/13)

Gwent hammers are out in force for this one !
Mini bus from Pontypool and Newport picking up stragglers along the way.
Then in local club for 12 for pre match entertainment ....
Baa baaaaaaaa before anyone else says it !

Re: Swansea v WEST HAM UNITED - Match Thread
Went to Uni in Swansea so know it well, the irish bar being spoke about is Murphy's. For the more mature I'd say pitcher & piano or even the tiki bar if cocktails take your fancy (they've got a terrace on the roof for smoking sheesha) - quite a nice place actually.Romford wrote:

Theres the no sign wine bar too.
If you're still knocking about at 4-5 in the morning, jump in a taxi and ask to be taken to mozarts in uplands - it's like the most surreal house party you ever went to. It's a small little bar basically on the ground floor of a large house always contains some interesting characters at that time of the morning

Judging by his comments on Friday I suspect Sam will go with the no striker system again but look to throw Carlton on early. Suspect we'll end up with Carlton, Jarvis and Joe Cole on the pitch.

Any idea if the storm of the decade is going to be a factor on this going ahead?

Tomkins to score and west ham to win 1-0 is 185/1 on bet365...cockney farmer wrote:Right now I placed my bet I can let you into my vision Tomkins 1 0 I had a dream big grinning as mobbed by players celebrating 33 to 1 get on it now

What are the odds on the game being postponed because of the weather?
