12 league games at Palace...BondsoBob wrote:
Someone else has said something like this. But I think you'll find the last few visits haven't been too clever but overall we've a pretty decent record there. And I'm talking about pre-premiership days as well.
Palace 2 wins
West Ham 5 wins
5 games drawn

I'm pretty sure Allardyce is going to start Nolan so here's my team
-------------------Jussi--------------------
Dem----Tomka------Ginge-------Linda
----------Diame--------Noble------------
Downing-------Nolan--------Morrison
------------------Carlton-------------------
Was really impressed by Linda in the second half yesterday.

We need 3 points from this game not 1. They are are there for the taking if we weather the Poolips inspired pluckiness for the first 15 mins then have a go. Any negativity will be siezed upon away in the Prem, look at the second half at Norwich, take our foot off the gas and pay the price. Lets save the last ditch grinding out a result tactics till Saturday.
No problems for me last time pub-wise, Cherry tree, spoons, tesco and off license all ok.

Kebe and Chamakh will score, so we will have to score at least 3 to win.

Well, I think similar gameplan as Saturday would be the way to go, but still keep Maiga on. He seems to be growing in confidence and leaving him out now I feel would totally knock him, so I think in starting it's only going to bring him on even more. Would love to see him show us what he can do, as I'm sure there is more to come.

Guiness in the Cherry tree, any good ?[/quote]
It was proper busy in there, hard getting served needed to double up. Beer I had was average so I guess the Guinness would be along those lines.

Exactly mate- we need to "keep our eye on the ball" close down every possession and treat it as a survival job. Saturday? we are set to give up our annual 3 points gift to the scuzzers- as it is 50 YEARS SINCE WE WON AT ANFIELD, ( we last won there in 1963), when the tremendous trio were coming to the fore.Porkeyes wrote:We need 3 points from this game not 1. Will we lie down and roll over as we always do? I wonder what odds you could get for a West Ham win- 500-1 ? Of course i'd love to put a fiver on and win a bonanza-but this season?..nah don't think i can afford to lose a fiver in the current economic climate

What spoons will be easier before the game, the one at Thornton Heath or Norwood Junction?
