I'd start SexNDrugs up front. I haven't seen anything from either Italian to warrant a start yet.
I think Reid might return to start beside Collins.
Also - I don't know if his head is screwed on right, but Morrison could be the guy to destroy this sort of defence.
The rest picks itself, but oh man, I'm enjoying seeing Adrian cement his place!

Train strike starts at 9:30pm that night, Bloody great
3 wins on the trot would be class

I will be the happiest man if we win this but isn't is it West Ham way to lose this game?

No room for complacency
Need professionalism and hard work in this game. Hughton has had sam's number before
Unchanged starting line up for me subject to any players looking jaded as per the gaffers opinion

unchanged team for me
I love Reid, but unfair to drop one of the James's after 3 quality clean sheets in a row

No changes needed. Keep on trucking as we are. Successive wins, and a draw with Chelsea speaks for itself.

only difference id like to see in this game is to start Armero , he looks like he could do some damage with Jarvis

Another 2-0 for me and the club can pull itself out of "one of the dark times in our history"
Says it all when the chairman is a knee jerker
Noble and Jarvis with the goals, (Jarvis must score sooner or later, awful finishing today)

Re: West Ham United v Norwich: Match Thread
Massive game here, I said at the start of the month, or just prior to it, that we needed 10 points from this month.
Would rather take the 3 points against Norwich than Southampton for the simply fact that Norwich are in the battle and this would give us a little bit of breathing space...
Same team that started today, maybe (if any change is to happen) Borrelio(sp) for Carlton. Nothing against Carlton but think he might be better off coming on after 60 on Tuesday rather than starting.
Going to say 3 - 1, two more for captain fantastic! and one for Carlton late in the second half!

Can't remember, but think it would've been the 06/07 season think we won the last four games on a trot, and 7 out of the last 8 IIRC, someone else might have a clearer answer or be able to confirm itironsjh wrote:When did we last have 3 PL wins on the trot?

Had a feeling we'd win today, and got a feeling we're going to win on Tuesday too, 2-0 or 3-1.

We have a score to settle with this lot after the last game against them.
Let's punish them.

Re: West Ham United v Norwich: Match Thread
I think that Boriello looked like he was blowing quite hard for much of the second half and that was when he was out of the game for a lot of the time, so I'd imagine he would not be ready yet for a start.
Sadly, Carlton was a bit of a weak link, although I think the conditions were very tricky,so I reckon he's worth another start if fit. I tend to think he is more effective on our tighter pitch too.
Otherwise, we might have to hope Vaz is fit and try him up top.
Wouldn't make any other changes especially to the defence that has kept 3 clean sheets on the trot even though Reid is probably our best player - great to have him in reserve, though.
Of course, it may be prudent to make a change or two if any are feeling a bit leggy but, as has been said, I'll trust Sam on that one.
