That's a total kop outwolf359 wrote:
Without mentioning Nolan, what did 'Morgan' do last game to keep his place, he was very very poor IMHO.
How can Nolan not be mentioned if your using the arguement "what did x do in the last game to keep their place"
It's a farce; no matter what the result is today its an absolute joke

The Manc team is going for the jugular by the looks of it. Ludicrously attacking.

Hope Kouyate has the positional discipline for CB.
He's so full of running, so much stamina he chases the game everywhere. This is brilliant in midfield but suicide at centre-half, I hope he's been well drilled.

Got to be reasonably happy with that team all things considered. I think Amalfitano is better as an option from the bench at the moment, hasn't set the world alight when he has started. We are going to need Nolan's leadership in what is going to be a tough afternoon!

You just know Nolan will play behind Sakho with Valencia and Downing wide.
Re: West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread
I think having him at CB will enable song to play further up the field and I can see a lot of plays being started from him cutting out a pass and going on a runJunco Partner wrote:Hope Kouyate has the positional discipline for CB.

We've got the leadership argument now! That lack of leadership really held us back in our wins against last seasons top 2 didn't it!

Valencia will, foolishly, be out on the left for most of the game I reckon, with Downing right side. 3 deep midfielders soaking up pressure and looking to release our abundance of pace on the counter.saludo de carlitos wrote:You just know Nolan will play behind Sakho with Valencia and Downing wide.

kouyate is a good Cb, played there lots of times and filled in against spurs when Collins was sent off.

I agree Milf has been better coming from the bench, shame its never Nolan that makes way. Good to see Sakho and Valencia together I dont remember that before very often so we are hopefully going for it

Solid team, even without Reid or Ginge.
Their defence is do-able. Their attack is, on paper one of the strongest I ever seen in the Premiership. Herrera, Mata, Felleni, and Valdes on the bench is pretty damn strong.

If downing is central I don't have a big beef with that (although I would prefer Morgan). If Downing is moved wide, Sam has lost the plot.

Even a starting Morgan is better than Nolan. I can guarantee he won't be motm or score a hat trick
I wonder if he will beat his passing total of last week?

I just think it helps when people are playing out of position, very good organisation etc.Whufc06 wrote:We've got the leadership argument now! That lack of leadership really held us back in our wins against last seasons top 2 didn't it!

He is lucky if he gets a shot on target nowadays let alone a hat-trickwolf359 wrote:

Anyway you don't pick a player 20 times to have 1 good game, that's the problem
