Interesting game. One is a team that must win and one team with a manager who must win IMO.

Desperate to win this one after seeing us lose at home to Palace, Carltons return means he will bag 2 and we'll win 3-1, with Defoe scoring in the 75th minute causing all us fans to have the usual West Ham heart attack, Sakho scoring the other goal to sure the win and Amalfitano hitting the post late on.

Said this previously and I think he would be better to be beside Ginge than either of the other two ,just think Ginge will look after him better . Kouyate is a must in mid-field.

Not a massive fan of these 5:30 kick-offs but what can you do?

At least I won't miss any rugby excitement.

Should do these monkeys 3-0.

But Burke gets injured every time a first team call up looms.
Reid, Tomkins, Henry, Reece & Chambers are all crocked
Injury prone CBs - it's the West Ham way

Sakho up front on his jacks.

Can we at least get other players within 30 yards of him today please?

Pretty much as expected, but I really dont get Jarvis ahead of Amalfitano. Would have been a good chance to give Nene a start upfront or just behind Sakho too.....

One up front at home to Sunderland, ridiculous. Attacking football seems a distant memory.

Noble Nolan and Song are all decent enough but not all 3 at the same time, its too sluggish, need Kouyate or Amalfitano to add a bit of energy, might as well just give defoe his goal then go home :thdn:

433 with Downing and Jarvis on the wings makes sense against this Sunderland team. Good line-up!

This. Plus a chance to blood one or two youngsters, get a decent result to set us up for a fighting end of the season

Respect the point. A nice 0-0 will take us to 40 points and guaranteed safety.

Mackems have a front 3 of Defoe, Wickham and Fletcher.

Hopefully we'll over run them in midfield, Downing needs to put in a performance today and no more walking around looking like his cats been run over.
