pezza20 wrote:Forget blaming Nolan - today Noble was a complete **** - the ridiculous lunge was where the goal came from right at a point in the match where we needed to keep our heads. True he should not have been in the team and he missed a golden chance in the first half, but at least he does't cost is games with lunges and stupid tackles in dangerous areas.
Glad somebody else noticed that too. That stupid game losing lunge aside, he did the sum of nothing else all game either

It really is about time you went and made good your threat of supporting someone else, because by the tone of most your posts you're not supporting West Ham any longer.

Pissed off to high hell we've lost but seeing as we have very little to play for that was a bloody good game.
Absolutely wizzo, we may have lost but that could have ended up 5-5

Glad to see we're having a go at players as well as the manager.

I'm off to enjoy a lovely post-West-Ham day. Chin up lads. We're not getting relegated!

The tackle Noble made for his booking was a mistake, but a lot went on from that freekick to the ball hitting the net to make him fully responsible in my opinion..

Not fair he is taking the flack for the result because of that mistake

If this is what progress feels like, then I'd rather have turmoil. We are like a car with one gear.

They looked like they had far more fun than us and they're ****ed. Going away, apart from the annual trip to WHL, has been **** for a few months now.

The idea that with a couple of choice players we could challenge for Europe in the next year or two is laughable. Leicester looked a better team than us and they haven't won here since Richard III was hastily buried.

Those bloody clappers :thdn:

You are deluded, if that's entertainment for you, happy days. I wont defend what I saw today.

The thing is that we have the best squad for years but a manager who can not get the selection, tactics or subs right.

We are, at the very worst of scenarios going to be 10th at the end of the day

Some of you honestly
Slightly amended for you.

What the hell is negative ? Ok,against my better judgement and as I like a little flutter,I absolutely lumped on West Ham to beat the mighty Leicester City today. Not often that I'm actually confident enough to put my money on West Ham winning any game BUT this was Leicester City ffs.As I said,BOTTOM OF THE TABLE and there for the taking.

Why can't Allardyce have confidence in his players and tell them to go out there and play them off the park.Pathetic performance and I await to hear his pathetic excuses. If Leicester City can "fight for their lives" can't West Ham ? Shouldn't EVERY player of EVERY team "fight for their lives" in EVERY game they play ? Or do they pick and choose what games they can be bothered to put in the effort ?????

Oldun - correct - he should have started with Downing at the tip with Amalfitano out right, and if he brings Cole on he has to partner him with Sakho, Cole just isn't mobile any longer to play the pond striker. In a game like that that gets stretched Nolan is not fit enough to make the yards, and with Noble snarling around too we have no real speed in counter.

I reckon this relegation form mentality is ingrained into our consciousness, players included.

At the business end of the season there's much to play for not least of all money. This 'they wanted it more' malarkey is a total myth, trundled out by some to gloss over the poor performance (second half) after the promising first half.

You would think that after years and years of mid to much lower table finishes, and given the pending move to the OS we can come out and destroy the bottom team(s).

Nice try but I was agreeing with wizzo saying it was an entertaining game, the bit you deleted from my quote
