Yes, but it is tiny. Unless you are in there 2 hours+ before kick off you wont physically get through the door. Even if you are in you won't be able to get to the bar in less than half an hour. Also they don't allow under 18s in unless they are like a young kid with their parents. We are planning on drinking at Finsbury Park instead this year.LincolnshireHammer wrote: Never done Arsenal away before. Is the Drayton the away pub?

I'm afraid we will be over run. At home they are quite a force when they get get going. Adrian could come off with a bad back picking the ball out the net.

You bunch of miserable gits! I'm going for an exciting draw but a small possibility of a win. Sit deep, press, and counter quickly.

So if I can add up correctly, we haven't beat them in the last 15 games, losing 13?
Who knows what will happen, maybe they will underestimate us. Can't say I can see anything but a 3+ - 0 score line to them but maybe we can turn it on and shut up the unbelievers (me included)

Managed to get my hands on my firms Season tickets in the Arsenal executive section. Depending on the result I may be the last one that gets to use them!

Opening game of the season, always some unexpected results in those. 1-1.

Think we'll snatch a draw if, and only if, our defence cuts out stupid errors. Which means Collins can't play.
Bilic also needs to throw in a wild card player to make Arsenal think twice. Otherwise it's the usual backs to the wall for 90mins. They know Payet is going to be our main playmaker - we need someone else who plays in the hole to make it more difficult to mark Payet out of the game. I was hoping for Lanzini earlier in the week, but it looks like Samuelson is higher up the pecking order. Zarate could conceivably play there too, but he's too selfish for a game like this.

Samuelson and Oxford against the likes of Cazorla, Ramsey...even Coquelin...they wouldn't get a look in. Far too much of a deep end to stick them in.
Reckon that's how we will look. Not sure what he will do at the back. Could play 5 at the back with Reid coming in for Obiang and us setting up defensively. No idea what Bilic will do as of yet.
Re: Arsenal v West Ham United: Match Thread
They are a top side and getting a little better year on year, but they have three very big players missing.
They should still beat us and I think they will but you never know, a bit of Payet magic and a Sakho tap in wouldn't go amiss..

I'd like to think positive in the early games and Gooners tend to start slow.
They also won't think much of us as usual so lets go for 1-1 till the last 5 mins and we sneak a win.
Make a change and start the season off right.
