Collins has been superb since he came back to the club. Anyone slagging him off should have a word with themselves.

Collins poor challenge.....nowhere near the ball.
Well at least that helps sort out the central defence for next week. !

Re: Watford v West Ham United: Match Thread
he's limited. If he doesn't have to deal with quick strikers, and we are playing counter-attacking football he's still excellent. When we have to keep possession and/or he has to deal with speed in open space, he's lost. He's just not fast enough to keep up at this level against a number of squads.romfordneil wrote:Collins has been superb since he came back to the club. The telling thing for me that has re-affirmed its importance in our play following our other defeats is that we were limited to maybe a single counter-attack today. Take that away from us and we're all at sea.

Foul, yes but never a straight red. Was it any worse than the foul on Payet on the touchline against Chelsea? Not in my opinion but then again the words consistency and referees have never gone together.
Kind of sums up the performance today.
