Good chance for Randolph to show his worth after some excellent games this season.

Adrian "felt his calf" during the Watford game. Think it's precautionary tomorrow.

What I would want:

Randolph
Byram Reid Ogbonna Cresswell
Noble Kouyate
Antonio Lanzini Payet
Carroll

What I think it will be:

Randolph
Antonio Reid Ogbonna Cresswell
Noble Kouyate Lanzini
Sakho Carroll Payet

Only a minor change but I think Antonio offers more than Sakho when on the wing.

If Byram played 120 minutes v Hull yesterday I imagine there's no chance he will be playing.

Hmm, only thing with Adrian is, you can almost guarantee we'll need him to stop Man Utd's free penalty they will be awarded next week.

This. I have no problem with Randolph playing. No noticable difference with the form he has showed this year. Can't believe that after the shaky start he had in Europe.

Have a feeling he might start sakho and rest carroll for a big 90 mins vs Man Utd
I think we have to think of something else re man u regarding carroll because van gaal sussed us out in the last match by pushing his defence forward on set plays so Carroll was heading the ball on the edge of the penalty area.

I'm glad Randolph will get to play the last 3 games. He needs the match practice for the Euro's.

Usually an injury to our 1st choice GK would spell disaster. How nice is it that we have someone as good as Randolph stepping in?!

Interestingly, having Randolph in goal could potentially have the effect of promoting him prior to the summer. He will also get plenty of exposure during the Euro's, which lamentably Adrian won't even have the opportunity to get.

This could potentially lead to an interesting mystery as to who may have the First Team shirt next year. particularly as Slav has mentioned how impressed he is with Randy's recovery after a tough pre-season, and how he seems to have the height of faith in him.

We've been lucky in that regard. Faith in Randolph, and Jussi meant that a position that I genuinely couldn't fathom how we'd cope without Robert Green was becoming no longer grating.

With Randolf starting that's a 30% less chance of a pen being given.. Adrian is a bit of a wild one

I miss Carlton too. But we just have to move on.
