Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
They're a canny bunch, Walker in particular. And just all round a bunch of slags that are getting the majority of the 50/50 decisions in their favour.
The inconsistency in referreeing is shocking to be honest. Walker goes through the ball overly-aggressive, free kick, yellow card. Lloris absolutely cleans Lanzini out - via the ball - high, aggressive and out of control, nothing doing.
We've worked very very hard in that half. I just hope we have another gear because we're going to need one.

Definitely waiting to go down in the box. It we lose to a weak penalty I will despair.simonpaulthomas wrote:You could see them looking to go down in the box there.
I think we've been good so far, just a shame we didn't make more of the chances we've had, as per...

Good half of football from us, couple of silly challenges ahem Mr Noble, we sat a bit deep for last 15 of the half but they spent a lot of energy in that formation.
We should have scored at least once, but then Adrian's little fumble could have cost us.
cool heads and nothing silly second half.
Oh and the sky commentator wants us to lose c in t

Still have another 45 mins before you look like a right twat :lol:Marky wrote:Already planning to leave at 0-3.
Bilic has picked the wrong team again. He cannot be defended.

Slightly aggrieved that with all these nothing Yellows awarded against both sides, the follow-through on Lanzini by the Goalkeeper was left unpunished.

Nordtveit for Noble and push Ayew higher up the pitch please

really disciplined half there. the question is why haven't we been hunting the ball down in packs like that the rest of the season? the midfielders are all working together for a change.

Just targetting a weak and piss poor ref.I didn't think Walker's was that bad to be honest and I can't stand him !WorcesterWHU wrote:They're a canny bunch, Walker in particular. And just all round a bunch of slags that are getting the majority of the 50/50 decisions in their favour.

Totally agree about Lloris.

Calleri having his best game for us. One of our better players first half.
No way will we end up with 11 men on the park.
Spurs like to fall over a bit don't they ?
At least we are giving it a go that's all I am asking at this point.
Crown got quiet last 15 mins or so, come on boys, you can make the difference !

This. Only Noble's was bang on.traxop wrote:Slightly aggrieved that with all these nothing Yellows awarded against both sides, the follow-through on Lanzini by the Goalkeeper was left unpunished.
Hasn't this helmet got the Cup Final ?
Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
We have'nt had much of the ball and put a lot of energy and running into that first 45. Can we keep that going for another 45+ minutes, thats the concern for me. Bilic also is going to have to get his subs spot on tonight. Got to keep it going second half.
COYI.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
Yeah, agreed on Walker's tackle - not a yellow for me. But Lloris, the more I see it the more I think it's a case of just clearing everything if he can. Not only is it a foul for me but given where he caught Lanzini, he could've done him some proper damage.GaryP wrote:

Ah! the old spurs 'go to' tactic, the failsafe.......I'm sure they'll test Taylor fairly early 2nd halfHammer32 wrote:

Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
Highlights the problem having someone with such a lack of pace in fixtures like this, he'll always be 2nd to every 2nd ball and a yard too late closing someone down, i'd love us to sign a Wanyama or Gueye type for his spot.mumbles87 wrote:We not doing half bad consdiering we basically have 10 men
Noble can't do bugger all as he on a yellow already
