Off to work with huge smile to sell some records. It won't be this one but it's still going to get a blast on the shop system (and praying some Spu*s shirts walks in  )

Brilliant result and terriffic performance. Got to admit I was one of those who thought we were going to take an absolute shafting. Really pleased to be totally wrong. Added bonus in almost certainly stopping the Totts winning the title and and ending any lingering fears of relegation for us. Let's kick on from here ! COYI !

My Motm was Calleri .
Yes, I've just typed that . .
All about opinions chief , of course all of the players you mention and a few others besides could have got Motm , that's why I called it the complete team performance .Happyhammer93 wrote: Normally i agree with a lot you say, but this i find ludicrous... Reid, Collins, lanzini & Koyaute were excellent abd deserved a MOM mention
Calleri well he was useless
I gave it to Calleri because he isn't a very good player but he worked his socks off for the team last night , performing to his maximum .If the sum total of your ability is to work hard and run around a lot ,you better make sure you do it, and he did .

Just been looking on the 'Running Dick'. The Totts all seem to be more obsessed with Rachel Riley's 'bottle job' comments then anything else. They really are a complete bunch of juvenile delinquents.

They should be thankful they escaped with only a one goal defeat. Convincing themselves they were in a title race until West Ham slapped some sense into them, as usual.

As much as I hate the new ground, every time I've been this season we've won. Great result. Team weathered the storm really well to the point where no Spurs player got any time on the ball to be effective most of the time.
I shall be walking around with a big smile on my face, dishing out abuse and memes to my Spurs mates. I've already been threatened with death by two

Me too! I was about to go to work then started catching up on their 'enlightenment' having got to about page 52 last night.BondsoBob wrote:Just been looking on the 'Running Dick'. Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
That was worth getting up at 3 am for. At last!
It was a great overall team effort and everyone put in a decent shift.
We really had nothing to match them with other than effort, but it's amazing what can happen because once we'd scored, we looked much the stronger to get another and really should have done.
For all my criticism of him, Calleri did well out there last night. Missed a golden opportunity again though.
Can't understand why Lanzini got booked. I did see him venture over towards the crowd but it looked to me that he was well short of going into them.
Noble threw his name away early, and I thought that might come back to haunt us. However, it probably showed others what it was all about.
Great team effort and well done to all. Thoroughly deserved.
We have made quite a habit of upsetting the Spuds over the years!!

Amazing night. I genuinely thought we had no chance.
We must still understand we need to be honest about our squad in terms of ins and outs.
But let's enjoy last night

We pissed on their bonfire
And better it was 1-0 than 5-0 as that way it leaves them to mull on what might have been.

Had to take a peek at "Fighting Cocks" well if ever a forum's name was apt.....By comparison we are University Challenge to their Jeremy Kyle Show. I enjoyed our performance last night (our effing cup final according to our dear friends on FC) to be able to play well a team has to give you the space to do so, we didn't allow Spurs (I do so hate it when supporters use derogatory nicknames) to breath let alone play to their considerable strengths. Yes we wanted it more and no we won't be holding an open top caravan parade to celebrate.

Much as the effect of Riley's comments are funny, you can't take the utterings of a Man U fan born round the corner from where I live (Southend) seriously can you?

What a night.
First game at the new place where the atmosphere matched the Boleyn, which proves it CAN be as good.
Thought all eleven were immense, even the much maligned Calleri who worked his nuts off, but the back three deserve special mention for hardly giving Kane or Chemical a kick all night.
Brilliant performance West Ham , easily the best of the season and netted me a nice few quid into the bargain, 15/2 to win and 25/1 for 1-0 were bargains not to be missed

No you can't - and she is clearly on that show as a bit of fluff.
But in a way that makes the comment even funnier.

Re: West Ham Utd vs Tottenham: match thread
I saw Ladbrokes offering 7-1 earlier in the day and thought it was worth a flutter. Didn't take them up on it now. Gutted. That's how bad we'd become and how good Spurs were regarded going into this game. I hope the bookies got taken the cleaners.Iron George wrote:Brilliant performance West Ham , easily the best of the season and netted me a nice few quid into the bargain, 15/2 to win and 25/1 for 1-0 were bargains not to be missed
