Come on, he's not likely to drop him a couple of days after he was included in the England squad, is he?Crouchend_Hammer wrote:Cresswell must have some compromising photos of Bilic

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread
As stated on the previous page the team is confirmed as
Hart
Zabaleta Fonte Reid Cresswell
Antonio Noble Kouyate Ayew
Carroll Chicarito
442 or 4231? Arnie not in the squad but Lanzini on the bench. Andy loves it against these guys so hopefully that continues

Interested to see their organization if it is not 4-4-2...I think Cresswell as a LB, Masuaku should always be the LWB.ihateroeder wrote:It's not 4-4-2 on sky

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread
I cant see it being a straight 4-4-2 which means Ayew likely plays centrally as a number 10 again, where he's generally been total rubbish.
Edit: or could be Antonio through the middle with Ayew wide which would be infinitely better.

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread
Ok lets have a reasonably fluid match day thread.
Couple of things to remember:
Just continually posting 'Bilic Out', etc, without adding to the commentary of the game will result in a warning then a ban.
Having a go on behalf of posters receiving a warning will result in a warning then a ban.
Digging out the moderation team is an automatic ban.
Hopefully that is clear and we can have a thread which is a kind of match commentary for those whose only match experience is through this thread..

He's a hard one to gauge, so where do you think he should be playing and has excelled for us?
I'd not want him far from the action in and around the box; neat touches and a knack of scoring.

I wish it was though!
-----------------Hart-----------------------
--------Fonte-Reid-Zaba--------------
Antonio-Noble-Kouyate-Cresswell
----------------Ayew----------------------
----------Carroll-Chicarito--------------
That would interest me - especially if it was Masuaku over Cresswell.

Struggling to see anything but a 4-4-2 with that team as it doesn't fit any other system. I don't think it works personally but hopefully im wrong. Still not even close to getting our best team out and we're seven games in. COYI's dont let us down.

I don't like the team...i don't think it plays to our strengths
It feels like it's one desperate throw of the dice after another when it's not necessary
I see Antonio out left, Hernandez out right and Ayew behind Carroll...

That sound like a managers pre match dressing room prep talk...........bristolhammerfc wrote:Ok lets have a reasonably fluid match day thread.

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread
I still like him (Ayew) coming from the right. Seems to me that's where he had most of his success at previous clubs. Either that or right up front but that's not happening with P and AC on the pitch. He's not and never will be a number 10. Doesn't show for the ball enough.

I was pretty confident last night but think the team has gone unnecessarily risky
Hope I'm wrong obviously

Reckon Ayew (our one) will score today. He scored his first goal for us against them, played well in the home match and I reckon will still feel he has a point to prove.
